Friday Night Funkin' is an open-source rhythm game first released as a demo in 2020 for a game jam. The game is developed by a small group called The Funkin' Crew Inc., with the four founding members being the Newgrounds users Cameron "ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r. The game shares some gameplay features with Dance Dance Revolution and PaRappa the Rapper and borrows aesthetic influences from Flash games. The game has been credited with driving users back to Newgrounds, a site whose popularity peaked in the early 2000s.
The game mainly revolves around the player character, Boyfriend, who must defeat a variety of characters in singing and rapping contests in order to continue dating his love interest, Girlfriend. Gameplay revolves around hitting notes with timed inputs while avoiding running out of health for the duration of the song.
The game was initially created for the Ludum Dare 47 game jam on October 5, 2020. An expanded demo was released on November 1, 2020, with updates being released in the following months. A full version backed on Kickstarter titled Friday Night Funkin': The Full Ass Game is in development - Ігри

I love the fact that the credits at the beginning look like those old see-through youtube pop-up things that creators used to put over their videos during certain moments...it was a different time when FNAF first came out.

it's a lot more realistic (that being where Freddy comes from), THE FACT THAT YOU CAN INTERACT WITH THE DOORS, and the overall art style of the song
And you can even interact with the video bar on the bottom, mostly via skipping the song entirely if you press the 'Next Video' button

Has anyone realized that you can skip some of song parts by pressing skip button that was near pause button?
When you skip it will zoom in and you cant fix it
also when I used the skip button in the end the song itself restarted (not the gameplay)
The comments told me, some say it works some say it don’t. It’s really cool tbh, however they say it should work when skipping to 5 seconds after or before. Like what you can do to UA-cam.
I love how the red youtube bar is actually accurate and follows the song in actual youtube time. The attention to detail is insane.

HOLY SHIT IT'S THE ACTUAL OFFICIAL ONE- god i love the artstyle man, mark look like he's ripped STRAIGHT out of a comic book, pure eye candy man goddayum, also like the detail of the likes and dislikes being replaced the classic 5 star system, y'know i always wondered what using it was like
easily my favourite version of bite, the amount of care put into this one is insane, from the character designs, from the backgrounds, TO THE INTERACTIVE UA-cam UI? absolutely incredible.
