Honestly he is. Without him writing that note Harry would've never found the horcrux also he proves more-so than Draco that not every Slytherin is bad.
If there's ever a film or show adaptation of the marauders era, the right move would be to make Sirius and Regulus the main characters. Honestly, and objectively speaking, Regulus is one of the most interesting and complex characters on the series and we were ROBBED of him; I think he would have been everything JKR and the films wanted us to believe Snape was. Also the collective fancasting of Timothée is so great and accurate, I think he was born for a role as dark and emotional as this. I adore everything about this concept!
I agree! It would also be pretty cool for a show adaption where each episode is from a different characters point of view.

@@beansontoast1759 This is probably annoyingly true. How Peter turned to Voldemort’s side would even be more interesting. I think a mini-series starting in their school years when he was gaining followers would’ve been very interesting, and just progressing. Better than most of the crap on TV.
I think the main focus should be the main 4 Marauders but the Black family (especially the the Black brother) would be a great sub plot

this video hit me so hard you don’t understand. sirius and regulus have the most complex and tragic backstories in the hp universe, in my opinion. even though sirius faced the abuse (whether physical, or mental) in his household for *years,* he had 3 other brothers in which he can rely on, and find love. but regulus - regulus had *nobody.* he loved his brother, and had to watch him get beaten and hurt by his parents for nearly all his life, was pressured to be a perfect son, and even if he were to run away, he had no one. absolutely no one. god, I’m making myself cry even more 🥺

I agree. Sirius was the only protector that Regulus ever had and he abandoned him when he ran away. As much as I like the idea of Sirius he was very selfish and immature; he blames himself for James and Lily’s deaths but does not give any thought to the fact that by leaving Regulus behind he as good as signed his death warrant.

This edit physically hurts me because I love Regulus. He is the secret hero. He went against his parents morals and the morals of the dark lord knowing he may die to try and do right. The fact that Sirius and Regulus never had the chance to rebuild their friendship is so depressing, when they could of rebuilt it, it became too late.

Hatty B It was 12 am when I was reading when Sirius died. The first word Harry yelled, I immediately started sobbing. The next morning my mom was concerned the next morning and asked why I was crying last night. I replied saying “I wasn’t crying?-“ Then I remembered my mom stays up til one am watching a movie since night time is her only free time.

Regulus Black is probably my favourite character in the entire fandom, and equally the most underrated. This did him justice, so very well done 👌❤️ Great song choice, perfect for the brothers.
This video is just perfect. I can't name 1 thing that I don't love about it. 😍
It really shows how Regulus loved his brother with his whole heart and Sirius gave up on him. When Sirius left Grimmauld place at 16, Regulus was only 15 and their parents influenced him so badly. When Sirius have sorted into Gryffindor and Reg went to Slytherin he got all the "responsibility" of being a "good" Black and this just got even bigger and bigger during the years, then he has left alone with his crazy, maniac parents and his "friends" who were absolutely with him because of his money and name. Few months later he became a Death Eater 'cause all the pressure on him and that little love between him and Sirius totally disappeard. Sirius called James his brother and it is completly understandable his hate on James Potter. Sirius loved James more than his own brother and that broke Regulus. Then, he died like a hero, but not a single soul knew that until Harry's sixth year, but then the one and only people Regulus wanted to prove his worth has died and Sirius always thought that Regulus was just afraid and that's why he got killed. Sirius said that he wasn't even worth enought to get killed by Voldemort himself.
Regulus's story is so fuc*ing sad and heartbreaking that I'm in the darkest corner right now crying my eyes out for one of my favorite charater in Harry Potter. 😭😭😭

I wish J.K. Rowling would’ve written a book about Regulus and Sirius Black. I would definitely love for Timothee to play Regulus in the film adaptation of the book. He would definitely capture the heroine that Regulus was. Sirius should’ve given Regulus a chance to prove that there was good in him. Just like Sirius’s quote in TOTP. We all have light and dark inside us. It is the part we act on, that is who we really are. Regulus was the hero who should’ve had his story told.

I'm so much more into his character than I was before and this hits different now. (I mean that I'm watching this 100 times a day, but that's another story.) And like... I'm crying 'cause I can see, Sirius got all the physical (I'm sorry if it's not spelled like this!) pain, but Regulus got all the others. And I don't know why, but the most heartbreaking thing in him for me is that he is so lonely! Sirius got 3 other brothers and so many good friends in gryffindor, whose shoulder he could cry on, but Regulus had no one. Absolutely no one. He had to face all the pain alone. And this is what not a single person should feel. That he is alone in this world with all the struggels of it and he don't have just one people by his side.
I have to say, he was actually braver than Sirius. Sirius would die for his lived ones, what is really brave, but Regulus died for people he didn't even know. And I think that he was lonely played a big part in his tragedy.
He loved Sirius. He did with his whole damaged heart. Can you imagine one worse thing that seeing one of your loved ones hurt and you know you can't help?
You see the pain in his eyes, you hear him scream on top of his lungs with so much pain in his voice, you see his shaking 'cause of the torture, crying because he can't hold it back anymore and you are there, but you can't do anything. You can't help. You're just standing there, wanting to help, but you were told not to by him. All parts of you want to run to him, say that it was all your fault and punish you, just leave him alone, but you don't do a thing. Just standing there, shutting your eyes, plugging your fingers to your ears so you can't hear his scream and singing the little song he sang you when you were a little kid and you couldn't sleep because of a nightmare you just had, knowing nobody would hear it. THIS IS THE WORST FEELING EVER! AM I WRONG?

If he lived but faked his death and ran away, overwhelmed and convinced thinking that sirius didn’t love him anyway so there wasn’t any point staying! So where would he leave to? I've always thought they loved each other reg did what he did obeying his parents so Sirius didn't half too and it had to of hurt reg when Sirius was kicked out and went to the Potter's bc I feel like reg wanted a relationship with his brother and I don't think he had a choice in the hole death eater thing it's sad Sirius never found out why he died

I personally use final cut pro (which you need a mac for) but when I started, I used Sony Vegas Pro (which many incredible vidders use) which you can get on a pc. You can get a one month free trial of Sony Vegas Pro and there are many free utube tutorials where you can learn, and with the coronavirus, final cut pro is giving a 90 day free trial! Good luck!
