Just wanted to correct a little bit: the proposal for the law concerning transgender minors is only about juridical change. So, first of all it wants to take off the sterilization requirement from all transgender people. No sterilization for 7 years old and no sterilization for 37 year old. And second of all, minors can only change the gender in their juridical papers. Medical prosedures can still be done only for adults. It is also possible to change the gender back in the papers if the person changes his/her/their mind. So, if 14 year old wants to change their gender and then later thinks it was a bad idea, it can be change back. And it also requires permission from the parents, if the minor is under 15 years old.
finnish translaw is good as is. the law makes it certain that its something not to be taken lightly. also the last thing I want is the transitioning being pushed onto children by lunatics. Im strongly against it and Im infuriated that the change is even proposed. because that is exactly where it will lead.
@the EVIL rapwned I honestly dont give a shit what EU thinks. they should not have power over local jurisdiction. we need to be as adamant in these things as poland and every other country that EU thinks they can order around. not to mention we have gained absolutely nothing for joining EU, we have only lost money because of it.
Hey Catalina, I said in the video I was recently in a conversation where they said finnish websites are not in english, that's why I mentioned it, maybe you missed that part?
It's funny how you say immigrants should not complain about unreasonable language proficiency requirements on the job market when you work in a field using English. Well, imagine that tomorrow you lose your job just because you don't speak Finnish like a native. What immigrants want is for employers to not put this condition if it's not really needed! I work in marketing and I realize that I can't do that here until I learn Finnish, but don't put that condition when it's not needed.
@@diego.suomessa probably, not many here in Oulu. That's not the issue. The state provides resources to learn the language, but employers should also revise their attitudes. With time, it will happen.
Thank you for the video! It’s both fun and important at the same time. You have a "Veitikka silmäkulmassa" :)
kiitos Hannu! I liked doing this one, I shoud do this news videos more often

You have a rational and sound point of view.

Hey, for the record, some comments get automatically blocked by UA-cam, I allow freedom of speech in the comments section
You start from an article about immigrants seeking jobs and you talk about the websites... what does that have to do with it?
Hey Catalina, I said in the video I was recently in a conversation where they said finnish websites are not in english, that's why I mentioned it, maybe you missed that part?
Nobody asked my opinion...😅🤣
hahaha well...
@@diego.suomessa Foram opiniões sensatas!! 😅😇
Obrigado
Why would anyone at the age of 7-10 be thinking about changing genders. Most if not all trans people under the age of 18 are atleast 13-14 years old
So would you want the age limit to be 13?

That's unfortunate! there are however marketing positions where they don't require finnish proficiency tho

@@diego.suomessa again, you are offtopic. I'm talking about jobs that don't need perfect Finnish, but employers are still asking for it.
Yes, employers should definitely do, and ok yes it’s difficult to find jobs without finnish in Oulu for sure
Ah ok, you edited your question tho, you did ask why am I talking about websites in the video, that’s why I gave you that answer
