Very helpful video. I have 12v at the starter but no cranking so I think my issue is the starter as well, though I may go OEM. 😂 You're right, they're about $200.
Your battery can show 12 plus volts and still need to be replaced. You need to check the battery's cold cranking amps. Go to your local auto parts store and ask them to check the battery. If it's bad, replace it. It will save you a lot of time in unnecessary diagnostics.
