I put this side note on my last video, but it still rings pretty true as I get back into my routine at home and do real work work while trying to juggle everything, so I'll copy-paste it here again:
It can be quite difficult to push out videos while working multiple jobs (both remote and in person), traveling, pushing limits with projects, and being my own manager for merch, sponsorships, media, videos, etc. I am constantly overwhelmed and overworked. Hey everyone! As funny as it is... TURNS OUT that actually, while we're on our periods, our estrogen levels are technically quite LOW which means our balance should be phenomenal LOL. Hard mode would be during the proliferative phase and peak of the secretory phase, around days 7-14 and 18-23 (day 1 being first bleeding day).
SORRY FOR THIS I was told at some point that being on your period makes you less balanced, and then was like oh, this makes sense because E levels are high while bleeding right? But E levels are low while bleeding(!!!) Which also goes to show how little we talk about our periods and the impact they have on us bc I clearly didn't know what I was saying AND IT HAPPENS EVERY MONTH!!! Anyways, sorry about that and hopefully this clarifies information so you can use the ovaries excuse when it's necessary 🙏🏽

Anna thank you so much for your videos. I’m a 52 yo woman who started climbing a few years ago. I’ve really gotten into it and part of improving is watching lots of videos. It means a great deal to me to see women climbing and training on Instagram and UA-cam not just guys. When the guys climb together they act as they always would and don’t change their talk or behavior to suit all audiences. I’m glad you don’t either. I want to see and hear women being their true selves while accomplishing big things or just having fun with their friends.

I feel so bad before my periode days or on my first period day, that i almost never go climb, but i guess it's better to go and hang with another Girly friend because they can always chear you up! thanks for the great funny vid, i always had a smile on my face :)
Ooof yeah period weeks can be really weird with training! I find it helps to goof off with friends and have a low expectation session… and it usually goes really well :)

That orange one is legit difficult. I cant get my feet to stick to the little chip on the top of the smooth piece. I got up through the v4 black one, but past that, my feet become worthless on the 5 and 6
It’s tough!! I had to straighten my other leg awkwardly to get it out of the way for the left foot to get on the little nubbin. Are the climbs still up? Good luck!!
@@AnnaHazelnutt Yeah they have been up for a few weeks still. Every time I have gone, people still are giving it a go. I think its been a pretty popular wall overall. A lot of different folks all taking turns trying to figure out the beta has been a fun collaborative effort.
For what its worth too, ive only seen a few other people complete that orange 5. So seeing how you finished it smoothly is humbling. Ill be interested to see if you gave the other routes on that wall a go, as some of them are super difficult, but look really fun.
There was a normal v2 set on the slab at my gym it was perfect for a super difficult no hand climb. Felt great when I finally sent it. Slab is sexy and no hands is the sexiest

Fun fact, female athletes perform the best at the very beginning of their menstrual cycle (in other words at the very first days of their period). Do a little research on it.
^^ I was going to say, I looked into the article and it actually says that balance is at its worst when estrogen levels are highest, not when you are on your period. In fact during your period estrogen levels are lowest, so your balance should be good haha
