- Bow down before Elvis Hunter Pawsley I, our American Akita dog child. We just call him Hunter... or Cpt. Wiggly Butt, Bear, Dog Boy, Wolfie... okay, I'll stop. He is a VERY important part of our life together (my partner and I). In dis vid, he's seven months old. I hope you enjoy watching and are equally entertained.

I had a 140 pound Akita. Pure white. He would bark if an animal was near and growler if a person was near. Never lose control of him.

I had a puppy 🐶 from Allen's Akitas. She grew to a ripe old age of 12! She road on the back of my motorcycle 🏍!

He acts just like my Samurai. Akitas are the best dogs ever. My dog is huge. He’s 145 lbs I think
He looks lovely, my Akita is 9 months now, and is 44 kg now, if i go back to his 6 months he was 33 i think. His dad is 60 kg. Its my first Akita, but if you say wow at 27 kg at 6 months i quess mine is going to get rly big...

How did you deal with your pups biting everything while teething? I have a four month old pup and he is relentless, understands the "No" command untill it comes to biting objects :(
In part, it's inevitable until the pups teeth come in so I found things that he liked such as peanut putter flavored teething rings. It's the same as giving a baby a pacifier. Akita's are particularly mouthy so it's a relentless process getting them to stop. Good luck!

I did Karate with a Japanese gentleman who's home town is where these dogs are from. They were bread to hunt bears. These are serious dogs, very large powerful dog.
They are a special breed for sure :) Did he have an Akita?

Very cute, piece of advice thou get yourself a horse brush and give him a proper brush, Akita's have special fur which makes it hard to get under the coats but a horse brush is metal and shaves the fur slightly as your brushing and I can tell you have let go on the brushing for quiet some time from the look of his back of the legs. If you get a dog at least look after it properly, just my opinion from a veteran Akita Owner.
