The color variants you mentioned have full names actually. The red coloration that we see here is called "Strelizia-XX", pronounced "Kiss", which represents the way the unity between the two pilots improved. The gold color variant you mentioned is called "Strelizia Apus", which solidified the bond beyond true love, represented by how it looks like a wedding dress.
Love that finishing on the kit, my favorite top coat is GX114. It looks so good~ Would love to see you reviewing and painting the Shinkalion kits from the Moderoid line if you're interested :)
That’s why I always write down color mix ratios and mix small batches, just the amount I need. Never waste or mix excess paint, and I can always later mix more with perfect color match.
@@ZakuAurelius thanks! One last question, in the review vid you mentioned that the polycaps in the legs were way to big and it cause the seamline to open, did you cut the part of the polycap that was causing the problem or you just forced it in with the leg parts and glued them? Sorry I'm nervous, it's my first model kit so I don't want to mess it up, thanks.
i can hear "DARLING! ZERO TWO!" shouting in my mind.Beautiful work
The nendoroid is out in the gsc website

*Hey what is up ZakuAurelius*

it is a cannon color scheme after all, well minus the glowing crosses details on the head.
I was thinking about masking those, but then couldn’t be bothered 😅

This color scheme is actually canon...Episode 15
I know, that’s why it was one of the options!
Try and paint the Ultraman kit you just got. That would be glorious!
The big boy? He’s getting painted! Just not yet
Strelitzia Char Custom?
Did you use putty for those legs seamlines? If so, did you do it separately and then assembled it to the build or you assembled first?
Built it then disassembled it for seam removal. And no I didn’t have to use putty, just glue and sanding

Héctor Monter yeah I just cut away a bit of the polycap so the parts could fit together well
