- My expectations were low coming into this race but I pleasantly surprised myself with a solid ride. This reminded me of how fun harescrambles are. When is the next one?!

I have to say, I do enjoy watching you do hard enduro but these hare scrambles are a whole lot more exciting on this platform!
100% agree!! I'm gonna start looking for scramble races to enter.
Thank you for still making videos I’ve been watching since the “dirt bike lost in river” lol I think I was in middle school then I’m graduating college this year I really appreciate all the years of entertainment
Same here Levi I got one more year of school though.
"You can't rip like this on a 4t." as the 4t gaps you. Lol
I grew up right around the corner from here and the sick bros are family friends of the family! Glad to see you down in my neck of the woods!
I legitimately haven’t been subbed but when you said “I can’t go lower cause I’d be sandbagging” your an absolute legend!
No matter how many videos I watch, I always bob and weave around the trees as you pass them. I can't help it.
Thanks for coming out Zak, All 4 tracks were really good this year, come out next year for some more videos or maybe the whole series!
man, honestly of all the tracks you've raced, this looked most like something i'd like to go ride on a weekend with a few friends. plenty of wide 3/4 track rut sections where line choice matters - some tight technical spots but still not so tight you can't choose alternate lines - some hills that you can get on the powerband on but you're not scared of not making it and tumbling to your death. Whoever laid out this course needs to get a job with my nearest trail system lol well done sick bros
This honestly means alot to me, I designed and built the course. This was our first harescramble and we had everything working against us but we got it done the best we could.
@@Kdeleo I rode the beginner Quad class (i go more for fun but i still try to lay a bit of heat) and honestly i loved the course, had a bit of everything, the mud kicked my butt but the course was really fun and it sucked when my quad stopped running right. Me and my dad both really enjoyed that course, it was like nothing ive ever ridden before. Ive always said ive wanted to try log/tire hopping and i got to that section of the track and just went "what are they doing with us???" then when i got there on lap two i was super excited to launch it again! I was nervous because i never ran something too similar to this and it was great fun, maybe next time i need a bit more commitment and try to get faster over the motoX section! That top mud section though (at no fault of you), was absolute hell and i kinda like it for that reason, it tested my trail reading skills!
@@Kdeleo you knocked it out of the park. So many of these enduro/hard enduro/ harescramble tracks try so hard to make them one thing or the other, they forget to make them fun. That track looked flat out fun. Giving me the riding itch just watching it.
Would love some more of these Amazing hare scrambles! Always loved your commentary of your racing.
Hey Zach, just wanted to tell you that I appreciate these videos and have been entertained for nearly a decade because of you. Please never stop!!
9:37 is what it’s all about Zach, those little groups of encouragement help a ton, and will make one press on, when all they want is to make it stop lol.
Thanks for the ride bud. Nice job.
The commentary is epic! So is the riding skill!
Holy crap, that looks just like England in those conditions! I like the commentary over the video, that makes it a lot more interesting. Not to mention, you are one heck of a rider! Exciting to watch.
And that's the first time I've seen an orange Beta!
Zac I love these hare scrambles. But we need content faster. I could binge stuff like this all day
Really glad to see you out to wny series this was the only one I missed, us westerners need some more races out this way this is great for the series!
Two words for curing the winter blues "Snow Bike" ;)
What a race man! Great video. My 2022 Beta 200rr RE is almost here! I can’t wait man!
Rare form today Zach almost spit out my lunch when you were talking about your small bore dream hahahaa. Love to see yah in a good ol Harescramble, thanks for the content.
Awesome racing!!! Thanks for sharing
Glad to see you there! It's an awesome little series to finish off the season. Great racing
i remember watching you way back when you had the drz with your brother and you had that guy with the trx450 come out... now your back in my recommended, glad to be back.
I love the energy you have commentating the vids. Interesting
Now this is my kind of video. Love the scrambles.
Dude you crack me up.. these videos are awesome!! Love seeing n hearing all the 2 strokes!!
I normally don't enjoy commentary videos but yours are awesome! I got into dirtbiking this year and watched all your videos. Now if only I could give you a rear camera and edit you a 360 degree video. 💪
dude, yes! love the hard enduro vids but the hare scrambles just hit different. keep mixing it up 🤘🏾
most entertaining enduro vids out there..... well done
You were ripping and that looked like a fun course, 2strk forever baby!👍
After watching your videos for years I finally did my first season of nyoa and every race for wny scrambles BUT SICK BROS and you finally go to that one. Daaaaarn lol
Love your attitude Zach, nice ride!
heck ya, fun fun fun!
Zack or anyone, glove and tire choice please? That mud would destroy me lol
Thanks for sharing that race!!
Really enjoy your videos Zach. Happy thanksgiving
Super fun video, thank you.
Omg I love that Beta!
Hell yea that looks like a blast!!
Best video of the year
Killer vid! Loved it!👍🏻🇨🇦
What a fantastic race Zak
Such a shame you ran out of fuel 😂
All that practice on your property paid off big time mate 🏁💪😁✌️💨💨
Darn, a one gallon splash and go would seem to have made all the difference. Great stuff.
Love the change of pace of a hate scramble. Will say don’t switch to a small bore you won’t enjoy it like you think. Too used to the perfect 300. Small bore is only fun in certain situations
Dunlop MX 12 rear tire for that.
A paddle tire may work better...
@@toganlompkins8886 No the roots will slap you down, I have a dirt bike channel also, I know.
You’ve gotta put the Snowshoe GNCC on your 2022 race calendar - I think it’ll check a lot of boxes for you
I did enjoy thank you!
wow crazy to see how fast and easy an expert makes this track look. i rode the morning class and i was definitely struggling, no where near this fast
I rode the PM (he passed me..at least twice) and they make it look super easy.
What class did you ride? I was the trail boss/designer. I swept the 8 am, 12pm race and raced the C30 class at 930. Then during the quads I was helping them over the logs
@@Kdeleo B30. We briefly spoke, think it was you, after the race with Sam and Shane.
I enjoyed that course and think it'll be great once those roots are a little less dense on the one hill! I just could not get it together there.
@@Kdeleo good course, looking forward to next year, I was one of the sweepers with Tom, swept the 8am, 9:30, and took 1st in 40B race and series. welcome to the series!
@@kylejonesUB I believe so, by the obstacle course correct? I spoke with as many riders as possible to get their opinions on the course. I'm trying to figure out the best way to clean up the roots besides basically cutting them out individually. I'm worried if I pull them with equipment it'll cause a bad washout. I have a year to figure it out I guess.
I was at that race, wish I would have seen you!!
Dude I’m boutta be 20 and I’ve been watching your videos since I was 10 and the commentary series came out
Whooa. I was tense and contoured the whole race.
Awesome race/video!!🔥 I just switched from a 250 to a 125 and I love it!! Just have to stay on the pipe but the weight difference makes up for it and I'm not getting any younger the 125 is not trying to rip my arms off...
Awesome Race!!
Switched from the 300 to the 250 best move i ever made
I rode the second race 40c. I was wondering who the Beta riders were! If I known one was you I'd have said a quick hello. Damn your fast! your lap times show you could have gotten 1st or 2nd easily if you had done another lap. I'd have been the super fan manning the gas jug 😄
Huge fan of your content for five+ years. You were the first voice over your ride/racing guy I found on Yt.
Mann that track looks so sick!!
I love the energy in your commentary, those trees look way to close for me
Nice one!
OG dirt dirt bike rider
Awesome track!!!! What tube/tire combo do you run for harescrambles?
Guessing the small bore you drove was the beta 200rr? Would love to have that bike
Commentary gold !!
What a ride!
What tires would you say are the best for New York trail riding?
@ZachAtk1 are you coming to KXCR tomorrow? Clay City KY
What are the gloves you wear for cold weather races?
Yes I love harescrambles !!!!
Amazing video!! So funny 😀
Well done!
SoB...the one I don't go to because I was in Florida on vaca.🙄 It was so sloppy I wouldn't have went anyways. The other 3 were absolutely mint conditions.
bro that was fun to watch
Ouch, those doubles and ones man-hood!!!
Damn..... I missed it and I live about 10 minutes away in Wayland 👍👍🍻
Love it! Prefer this over Hard Enduro any day - you get to actually RIDE your bike!
thats a bummer you ran out of gas!
Do you use a rekluse clutch?
Much more fun to watch than that furniture moving stuff (hard enduro)
It's funny how you get to these channels was watching mx bikes Enduro game play and bam a fun channel
Awesome stuff! Does your '21 bike still have stock carb?
Yes stock carb.
Dam your good in the mud!!
I raced the 9:30 race it was mudder for sure!!
Love this🤘🤘🤘
fun looking track
I missed the HS videos!
maybe a 350 thumper would be a good mix
Any info on more beta demo days? 🧐🧐🧐🧐
Did you run bibs in this race?
Top top coment from Brazil 🇧🇷
Awesome , I think you need to mix in some more xc racing
MISSOURI. HILL BILLY GRAND PRIX (hbgp) Best hare scrambles ever.
New Bike👍
Do u win money at these events, or parts, prizes etc?
Haven’t done a hare scramble since 2019
Got stuck in the mud for a good 30 minutes didn’t have my phone on me and had to scream for help. After that I ended up getting out and back to the pits and left
Didn’t trust myself with how muddy it was like it was super deep and slippery and was a nightmare on a 2 stroke
I do wanna do another in the 2022 season
You've got balls going that fast on mud and roots, I hate mud and roots, it's OK just for regular trail riding but not racing for me anyway
Hm, interesting "screw it and go do it, cuz you'll never be ready if you don't. Just go out there and do it"
good vid bro
Crispiest bike
My complaint with the four stroke coming off the two stroke was that the two stroke was actually smoother because the four stroke had so much dang torque, it would blow the wheels off where I could moderate my wheel spin better on the two stroke.
2 strokes make more torque than 4 strokes, it's dyno proven over and over again. Are you talking about comparing a 450 to a 250? Cause that's like saying my bigger engine bike has more torque than my smaller engine bike.
@@MxRider721 no, 250 2stroke to 4stroke. The power delivery of the low end of each bike when you ride them back to back, the 250f is very hard hitting in the low end till you get to the mid revs, my two stroke which I race week after week is a more linear power curve throughout. This has nothing to do with dyno, this has to do with how the power curves are between each bike. The 250f was much more aggressive on bottom and pulled harder compared to my 250 2stroke.
@@brandonwiant814 I get the feeling you've never seen a dyno map of a 2 stroke vs 4 stroke. Or maybe don't fully understand what it means.. And on top of that you fell for the marketing brainwashing intended to convince everyone to believe 4 strokes are faster. Check my channel you'll see me and my buddies, some of whom ride 250fs are always switching rides for fun. We all have tons and tons of back to back experience and there is no question, none at all, whatsoever, the 2 stroke has more power all around. Torque, horsepower, the 2 stroke motor is putting out significantly more than the 4 stroke of equal displacement. This is also proven on the dyno. The 4 stroke puts down less torque and less horsepower making it easier to ride, easier to get traction in some situations, due to LESS power, which I think you're confusing with torque. My buddies all eventually switched to 2 strokes cause they were getting smoked.
@@MxRider721 you're talking to a guy who races a yz250x over a 250f...
@@MxRider721 I am referencing power delivery in a slick section, where a two stroke is more controllable in a slick section, and I went out the next lap on the 250f and slid out. Once you get past the lug of the four stroke the power curve is very linear, but they are light switches in the bottom power curve when you ride them back to back which makes the four stroke uncontrollable in a single-track slick section. They suck
My helmet is strapped on while setting on my recliner . Just placed a down payment on a 2022 KTM300XCW TPI DELIVERY LATE DECEMBER! OF TO ROCKY MOUNTAIN, TACO MOTO AND TOKYO ? FOR THE SPECIALTY AFTERMARKET. EVER HAVE A BRAIN FART , HUM TOKYO ? DAMN IT . ANYWAY THESE GUYS HAVE DONE THE HOMEWORK TO HELP YOU BUILD THE BEST YET LIGHTEST ENDURO BIKE EVER TO BEAT ZACH. LMAO . I CAN'T WAIT TO GET OUT THERE MIXING IT UP IN A RACE " E CLASS" ONLY TO HEAR ZACH DO HIS INDIAN ATTACK " WOO WOO WOO"
i couldnt talk myself into that one it was chilly
👏👏👏👏
What tire do you have on in this race?
I ran a MX33 front and Shinko 525 rear at7 psi with tubliss and it did not disappoint
You clearly have a ton more fun doing hare scrambles than the hard enduros. Why do you do the hard enduros instead?
👍
