This is a nice “Revenge-plot”-story with decent actors and a strong revenge-arc. Sadly, after a strong start, it turns into the usual bunch of arrogant people going bla bla bla and FL savoring the revenge by dragging out proving her identity. Quite annoying. I did like this strong/vindictive/capable FL. Well, given the ending, it’s a nice watch. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! After fainting, the pregnant FL wakes up at the hospital. She then overhears her husband, an actor on the brink of huge success, asking the doctor about aborting the child, despite it being almost fullborn. Their 5 year marriage has been kept a secret in order to protect his career but FL has also been keeping her own secret of being the wealthy daughter of a major group, wanting him to achieve his career goal before telling him. She hears him telling the doctor that they both have diseases so they don't want the child. When FL confronts him, the daughter (2FL) of his agency’s chairman arrives and tells FL that if the child is aborted, the company is willing to invest lots of money in her husband, making him the biggest star in the entertainment industry. FL then demands a divorce but knowing that the house, car and everything else is going to disappear if he agrees, he refuses. This causes FL to go into premature labor and in order to have the child aborted instead, he keeps her from calling for help. Luckily, the doctors arrive in time and both her and the child survive. Afterwards, her husband is pressured into not acknowledging his child in order to get the agency’s help in achieving the Best Actor Award. So he tells her to take a step back and let him do his thing, like being with 2FL, before returning to him. In order to take revenge on him, she pretends to agree. FL and her child then returns to her wealthy family and swears to get back every penny she spent on this scumbag, starting by revoking all his benefits like his black credit card. But to do so, also means staying by his side while executing her plans, all while watching the man she once loved, sucking up to another woman. Well, this has a satisfying ending.

ML wasted no time going from an excited expectant father to trying to kill his own child for the sake of his so called image and career .. he told his wife ( FL) people think he got a fan pregnant so she needs to abort the baby .. FL told him they think that cause ML will not go public with the fact that he got married and it’s his wife who is pregnant and not some random fan .. all he has to do is go public and tell the truth .. but he rather kill his own child then do that .. what a Monster .. wait til he found out he not o my lost a good woman who loved and supported him in every way .. but she is worth billions .. he threw it all the way for greed and letting green tea in his bed and in his ears…. And why pay for that 16 million yuan necklace, at the jewellery store?? she could've simply asked-why would a NANNY pay and leave the store, spreading copies of the marriage certificate for reporters!!! the paparazzi would gladly publish it before the ceremony, why wait??? Sighs....I've watched this version a few times and this is the first time I'm feeling sorry for the ex....He was heartless, calculating and selfish...why did they let a actor with baby-face play that part?😅..He looked so pitiful that I almost wanted the FL to forgive him. FL made the right decision though.

So basically guy was in love with wife and super happy. Then mom intervened and made him greedy for fame thinking the expensive looking green tea was it. Nope! You all fools! Guy was the biggest fool cuz he lost everything including his child. Moral? If you happy and in love and really living the life … don’t listen to mom who making you do shady behavior even you yourself question.

But clearly, she put her OWN AR$$ down, is what it is ultimately!!!!! she needed help in every single step and had not that 2ML, pei sha aka mr.pei, helped her, she would be stuck in that STOOPID VIP line, from the beginning to the end, with ALL those ridiculous dialogues, from those reporters, 2FL and her SIL..Also why go back, after that dangerous near-death delivery she endured, to that same house, where the husband and inlaws live???? when the baby was about to be born, quite literally at the last minute, the actor/husband, asks the doctor for an abortion [fully knowing], it will kill both the mother and child...the doctor is horrified and when the water breaks, the ML does not let the fL press the emergency button, for nurses to come rushing in..he covers her hand and mouth, but the doctors somehow rush inside??? isn't that BLUE MURDER??? And why pay for that 16 million yuan necklace, at the jewellery store?? she could've simply asked-why would a NANNY pay and leave the store, spreading copies of the marriage certificate for reporters!!! the paparazzi would gladly publish it before the ceremony, why wait??? As that could've been a teaser, for that ML, before the award ceremony????Also what REVENGE does she get, for all the pain and suffering she and the baby endured???Nothing-too little too late!!!! also the fL doesn't DESERVE that 2ML mr.pei..For after all, why should someone adopt a child and mother, as this fL is so blinded, that she could've stepped off, and cut off all those money, she paid her husband/actor..but yet continued disregarding her own and the child's safety, & continued to give the ML all her resources, so much that people thought-he was a RICH second GEN..absolutely horrifying!!! I skipped half of this and i still felt we were in the red carpet event, really do not recommend, the 2ml is cute and the brother is really awesome...
I usually like the dramas ML appears in but this one was a no no for me
Sighs....I've watched this version a few times and this is the first time I'm feeling sorry for the ex....He was heartless, calculating and selfish...why did they let a actor with baby-face play that part?😅..He looked so pitiful that I almost wanted the FL to forgive him. FL made the right decision though.
