@@ferdifresh8464 what are you talkin about? Almost every skateboard is lower than $150. I'd say $125 is the average for a skateboard. I guess if you went with gold-plated 24-karat trucks and a supreme deck than you sure you could go over $150.
for a straight grip gap, put the end of the grip where u want the gap to be, then cut the extra off and use the other factory cut end as the other side of the gap. it come out perfect every time!
Great set up. I just finally bought a premium set up with sublmnl and brt with teak tuning and some dope swirl wheels. Now I understand. But it's one and done for me lol
A trick I learned to Poke holes into the grip is to take the axle of your tuck and stick it in through the back of the deck so you know where to make the hole. But you have to hold down the grip around the hole so you don’t get those nasty air bubbles. If you do get some grip stuck to your axle it’s easy to wipe it off with your fingers and it doesn’t affect your truck at all. Also if you buy cheaper trucks they tend to have the kingpin at the base plate of your truck stick out a bit, so it won’t be flushed with the board. You can file it down a bit and it won’t affect but if you chose not to your truck tends to easily fall off.
I actually went to black river site. Went through the catalogue and the most expensive set up you can build is like $170.00 between deck, trucks wheels and grip all separate. I know it’s fucking nuts that they can sell this fraction of a board for MORE than a actual board.

I realize this is an old video but when you cut the griptape for the "grip gap" why did you use the end you cut with your scissors to put on the gap side? You should have turned it around and used the perfectly straight edge they had cut already to put on the "grip gap" side for a cleaner appearance.
I used to play with Tech Decks so I decided to watch some videos and ended up finding out its an actual sport and that there are better brand decks. If youre wanting to promote the sport youre doing a good job and honestly make me wanna buy one lol. Keep up the videos
If you use scissors don’t use the sharp side, just scrape the edge with the square side of the scissors and it just scrapes the straightest line youl ever see, and it doesn’t ruin the side of the board too
