Buckin!!! I am 19 years old from England, I'm a semi-qualified arborist and heading towards forestry and falling, I've learned so much from you, thanks alot I appreciate it!!
Don't you wish someone could have filmed some of the stuff you done back in the day? Before the internet. Old logger here. Towers and rigging. Southeast Alaska 1974-94. Those days are behind me now. Took down two Lombardy poplars at a ranch in northern California. One was 10 foot at the stump, the other was 8 foot. This is the first time I seen your channel. Great content man.
Beautiful shot there Buckin'! I had always wondered how you went about getting the far side of you notch cut when doing the Humboldt face cut. I still swear you never miss the apex my man!
Love your stuff!!! Wish I could bottle your enthusiasm and joy and keep it with me. Lord knows I try but I was born a pessimist and I fight against it every day. Can't wait to see what you do next!
Nice! Those poplars must be super old! Those were giants. I cut down a couple poplars on my property last year and they were older than me and im almost 30 and they were nowhere near that size
Better than some of the stuff I have seen people burn, but yeah...it isn't the best. Will do well if it can season for 3 years, but not worth that effort!
Billy, long time follower. Love your channel but love your message more. If subs have questions can they ask you? Live in ontario and have a huge (relative cause your tress in BC are way bigger lol) beatle killed spruce close to the camp and the bosses flower. Need to fall it in a very tight section. Wondering if there is any specific cuts to help drop it where I want.
Having cut down 40 trees in the last month wedging your tree is extremely effective you ahould also consider where the trees leaning but as long as you can do both of those and even some rope the tree will fall where you want it
Always a pleasure to watch. Listening to your chainsaws run is meditative and therapeutic.
That thing really exploded when she hit the ground!!! WOW!!!

Man, you are insanely good.
Nice one Buckin. Love it brother. 🌲❤🌲👊🪓
Looks like the rake man got a workout on that job.
Two things I wonder about? (1) what makes this tree so popular?
And (2) if this tree is so popular, why did you cut it down?
This is Tim Woodhead tenino Washington in recovery for 25 years native American thank you for all you videos
That saw though
Nobody lay em down like Buckin!! Getter done friend! ✊
East coast notch would have been a little easier maybe. Over hand instead of under hand.
Good Lay brother awesome job
That is a mean looking poplar tree. Oooo yeaaaa.!!!
Just so darn good 👍🏻
Great shot! I like to call that Shrapnel when they explode on impact. Haha not so funny when you have to clean it up though. 😳
I love poplar!! The smell brings back child hood memories for me
Nice video on that fall Buckin 👍👍🪓
Great video again. Something we're not short of on the farm is popular trees. They used to be grown to make matchsticks
All the other trees were always jealous of him cause he was so poplar.
The infamous Lombardi poplar. Those are always a pain in the ass to clean up. they just shattered in so many pieces when they hit the ground
Blown up, Sir! 🫡
Nice work! Just wondering. Why dont you use eye protection?
Stihl bar on a Husqvarna saw. Love it. Been climbing for 21 years. Love the tree life.
The saw was a ripper for sure . Running right
He is the frinkin man !!✊️
Exactly where he wanted it to land 👍
Campfire wood, no good for heating . Great bounce !
Better than some of the stuff I have seen people burn, but yeah...it isn't the best. Will do well if it can season for 3 years, but not worth that effort!
@@shanereynolds5971 our old farm was covered with cottonwood, l avoid it whenever possible stinks doesn’t throw much heat
I have a Husky 372 and a Stihl 440 both stock and I find they perform about the same!…that 372 barks!!😳

Nice Saw!!! Is it a Husqvarna?
Holy Cow ! :o
Clearly it's not the first time you've done that ! ;)
