@@kingaxxidnt2484 Yes , as GT Perfect Files state kid body didn't reduce his strength but only stamina , which also seemed to be fixed when he got a tail and could use ssj3 for longer .
@@Sneften He wouldn't get more big than it already is cuz bringing back adult form is associated with his identity like how big he should be not make anything bigger , ssj4 basically just undoes the wish that made him small and brings him to his peak where he gets back his mastery over techniques like IT other than the extra upgrades like power , speed etc and abilities it has.
According to Sean Schemmel, that x10 Kamehameha scream was the one that almost made him pass out cuz he was 'improperly queued' or whatever, I don't remember exactly.
This episode was just pure badass. Not only Super 17 was just saucey, but this was also a great fight and it debuted my favorite blast attack, The Red 10x Kamehameha. Beforehand, his 10x Kamehameha used to be blue like normal, but then they made it red making it look way more powerful than a regular Kamehameha.
Because even the idea behind the red colour for ssj4 Goku was said to be that it signifies immense power .

@@trisxart2393 Although it's surely unfairly sh*t on too many times by the wannabe critic mob who says stuff like Goku being remotely dumb in this arc by getting false impressions from dub or completely making up their own headcanon fantasy that makes sense with that claim .
Some popular things like why doesn't he know he's absorbing ki blasts when he has fought 19? First this is Super Android 17 not 19 , for him to even consider him having that ability by default . Second , his way of absorbing is neither remotely similar to 19 nor a clear indication of absorbing attacks . He does it through his chest unlike 19 who did it with his palm , and the way it happens it just looks like he's tanking an attack to flex on the opponent . When Goku gets an idea he could be absorbing attacks he tries the same tactic that has been shown to work before against the energy eating Yakon in Buu saga , overload , and this time by a way stronger method using a 10x kamehameha unlike just continuing to use energy that he was already using like he did against Yakon , Super 17 had some plot armor and barely survived , while shown to be gasping after it and Dr. Mu himself stating even he didn't think Super 17 could take that much .

Even though it didn't work, I have to give Goku his props for trying to overload him with Energy because Super 17 would probably be expecting him to switch to Physical Attacks, but he almost always takes the energy head on, it was a good idea, he just couldn't predict how much he could take
Yeah it was a very risky gamble on Goku’s part. Something Goku isn’t a stranger to doing only this time was one of the few times his gamble didn’t pay off
@@phantaflame2889 exactly, and also it wasn't like they ever knew the potential capacity for Androids absorbing things anyway since they didn't really have the will to test it against Android 19 or 20, as far as Goku knew it was all a guessing game anyhow

He was so strong in the anime that the TCG had TWO tournament exclusive Super 17 cards that were OP given to top 32 and top 16 only so they sell for THOUUUUSANDS! I used him for my deck as well, as most people at the time.

I personally think the super 17 arc is overhated, it’s not as good as the baby arc but it’s also not as bad as many people say which usually comes from people who haven’t watched GT and only experienced it via 3 minute long UA-cam videos from 15 years ago.

Goku was using a x10 kamehameha, 2.2 x 10 = 22, so the SSJ4 multiplier was 2 billion from my previous comment, times 22 is now Super 17’s power, 44 billion times Base Goku, he is now 22 times stronger than SSJ4 Goku.

Kinda the reason Super 17 kept running away from the start to not take any physical attacks and make Goku shoot ki blasts .
But now he even absorbed 10x kamehameha , so the difference now is huge .

Regular kamehameha is already stronger than a generic ki blast and i could understand if it was just that he absorbed , but bro is built different .

Super 17 barely survived it and is on its level of power now , but Syn was simply superior to it.
• IFP Ssj4 Goku >>>
Goku increased the full power of his Ssj4 with the help of others and became way stronger than Syn shenron not even being able to be touched by Syn as far as Goku didn't want it while being blind , and it wasn't even with ki sensing as Syn predicted cuz an attack not carrying ki didn't work either , in terms of level overwhelmed and beat Syn by a regular kamehameha. Even strong enough in terms of adaptability to not get much affected by Omega shenron's more powerful usage of abilities from other dragons , just because Ssj4 Goku had experienced it before . Outclassed by Omega generally in physical level but even pierced his durability and had finished him with the dragonfist if not for his broken regeneration ability he got from one of the other dragons bringing him back .

Fought Omega on equal footing with Goku Ssj4 both sometimes catching him off guard and throwing him , if we count Goku from before Vegeta arrived as well then Goku did it more times but still in terms of overall stats they're equal , as GT Perfect Files also clearly states that about Vegeta Ssj4 .

Generally outclasses IFP Ssj4 Goku and Vegeta Ssj4 far enough to mostly keep beating them up in a 1 v 2 .

Attacks and throws Omega from a range by just a stare , hits multiple times so fast they're shown as just one impact , slows them down for Omega to see and he still can't react while now they look like multiple impacts , phases in and out of existence when he wants to simply avoid an attack from Omega leaving an afterimage for a bit and spawning again at the same place after Omega has passed him , can make 5 of himself all being able to simultaneously do things and use a kamehameha , kicks away Omega's strongest attack powered by the negative energy of all seven dragon balls , is stated strong enough to beat him by 1 finger .

Tanks a Negative Karma ball from Omega like nothing , making him say " Who.. who are u ? " Not only being way stronger than his earlier Ssj4 form in base but on a higher level of existence , by the overall mystical implications in GT somewhat on the level of Sugoroku space , as in that episode Goku asks Sugoro " Does Sanzu river flow anywhere around here ? which is a place considered to be between the world of living and the dead , to which Sugoro replies with it's even more perilous . And at the time of Omega's defeat it's also intentionally played vague as if Goku isn't supposed to be alive yet he isn't dead . Everyone truly believed Goku had died until he shows himself just like after getting hit by RDB in Baby arc , until he shows himself " I can't die just yet , not until i've put u away " while Omega says " This can't be , surely u're supposed to be dead " . Pan says " Grandpa , u're like a god " while he's holding the spirit bomb . After all this is over , some characters seem to realise something different about him , Vegeta and Roshi knowing that he's permanently going away , he just disappears from Roshi's place , after coming back 100 years later , again he just seems to phase in and out of existence kind of like Ssj4 Gogeta , spawning in front of Goku jr. as well to tell him the rules of dragon balls , and granting a wish when he only had one dragon ball anyway , just because he had worked really hard for it , making Pan healthy again and bringing back his friend , disappearing when others arrive and still telling him something to encourage his belief in hard work instead of overly relying on dragon balls " Remember it was ur effort , not the dragon ball " . Although Gogeta 4 is still stated the strongest character , this Goku should be at second place .
@@humanman9920 It's debatable if Goku just returned to full power or got a big power boost. This is after he loses to Syn. I personally believe Goku got a power boost. Against Syn, Goku wasn't at full strength.

Goku kept fireing blasts at Super 17 because the 17 he knew wasn't an energy absorbing android like 19 or 20. The 17 he knew was an infinite energy android just like 18.
Also his way of absorbing his different from any android before or doesn't indicate anything like that , the opponent has to rely on their own deduction about events of the fight to find it out , cuz it looks like he's just tanking the attacks while he's absorbing it through the chest not even palms like previous ones did .

It is , watch daima trailer . Turns out the non canon claims were just speculations going wild . Cuz they didn't have any official backing in the first place , now they're outright disproved officially , as even this much time after the new continuity began , Toei still shows old dbz and gt in the trailer of their latest db series rather than just replacing them with dbz kai and only showing dbs as continuation .

Good thinking. But it's explainable by the fact that he has Goku's Ki absorbed. And a lot of it. Plus Super 17 is stated to be a machine mutant now, which have organic properties, including Ki according to dragonball wiki.
