This plane is so stable for a tri-copter configuration. FoxTech sells this same airframe with a tri-copter VTOL setup for a whopping $3K US dollars. May I ask how much this completed project cost you in parts and hours of assembly time? Also, did this plane have a waypoint mode that enabled it to fly autonomous missions beyond the range of the RC controller and video feedback range? That 90-minute flight time makes this the ideal platform for long-range FPV flying of pre-saved waypoint missions.
Hi! I have a problem, I did all the conguration in manual mode all works well but, when I change to Qestabilize the motors stops. Can you help? Thank you.
@@kris968658 Thank you . It´s possible fly the nimbus vtol without airspeed sensor. My nimbus do not end the transition to FBWA and the motors dont work normal, and i need to go back the hover mode. What do you recommend? You can send your parameters to compare with my. Thank you ..
Hello Kris, this is awesome! Just simple question, where can I buy the Tilt Servo as you use here?? It is UAS brand? Please help me to find this servo. Thank you very much Kris...
Hi, I have the Nimbus. I am not able to start the motors nor calibrate the ESCs. Could you please let me know what are the wire connections to the PIxhawk and the firmware to be used? Thanks

Bobby Moser , sorry, I really cannot take you through Ardupilot (APM) step by step. This DIY has a wiki in Ardupilot, and the official explanation is also very clear. Http://ardupilot.org/plane/docs/quadplane-support.html basically, As long as the assembly was done right, (the video has an assembly diagram), then follow the official instructions step by step to complete. If you do not know how to adjust the PID, import Nimbus1800.param If you have any difficulties please feel free to ask, but I’m sorry I really can't take you step by step to learn Ardupilot. In addition, I didn't sell anything. I just posted the places where parts can be bought.
He gives some pretty clear instructions in the video. If you're wondering about VTOL config on flight controller there's a ton of videos on UA-cam on how to do that. Pretty easy. These are never things you should expect to buy and have them be plug and play. I've built plenty of drones from kits and not one has been truly plug and play or ARF. Everything needs tweaking. That's just how DIY drones are.
Flying Goggles that’s ur opinion. But honestly nobody cares about your opinion and your comment is nothing but disrespectful. What if you want to start a plane out of a garden or balcony, where you don’t have enough space? You want to deliver a package somewhere 30 km away? This man did a great job! Thanks a lot 🙏
This is better than a quad drone - - - 90 min flight time is fantastic
This is so cool! Looks like OEM work! Thank you for the video i will look at your others now!
How did you achieve yaw? does the rear motor pivot left and right?

Wow! It's very well tuned.
Nice work! Are you flying it in Qloitter?

Hello Kris, Thank you for sharing your setup. What is your total weight take off (AUW)? What is your size front props. ?Is it same as foxtech? 14x10 ?
Hi there, could you publish the pids and param files So that we dont have to go through the painstaking process of dialing it in?
Excellent build and performance! Are you using 6S? LiPO or Li ion? Thank you.

kris Great!! Thank you!
Лайк и подписка. Здорово, интересная тема. Интересно, как все это программно реализовать на PIX4 APM?
Can you tell me wich one pixhawck firmware do you use?. thanks
Hello Kris, do you think that you could make a push-pull (tandem motor) configuration fly with a good flight program?
Rock Solid and Rock Steady! :-) Can you be a guide for me to design a similar one?
How much... Kris
That's a nice build!
Payload(FPV): RunCam2 + 5.8g 2000mw ???? 5.8 g ???
Is it posible to get such a model ? In what store ? and all devices necessary ? Thanks for the answer. Regards.

I feel like the wings slow it down
Hi, could you tell me what diameter the carbon tailboom has.
Thank you
Hi,
diameter:25mm
Nice work
what is the maximum payload?
The max payload is about 500g. Nimbus1800 is meant for fpv and gopro type of cameras.
Dear Santa
What's your sales man WeChat?
What flight controller did you use?
Pixhawk

amazing!
NICE VERY STABLE .
請問這樣子一台制作成本要多少錢?謝謝您
淘寶搜尋 'UAVS VTOL改裝套件' 可以找到改裝件價格,光環空機那些也能找到價格.

not good these guys will sale you some motors and esc's with no instructions. waste of money... don't do it

I dont like the idea. The plane is ugly. If u wanna fly a plane u fly one, if u wanna hover u get a drone or a copter, that's it.
