Really awesome demo bro! Crazy how all the high gain Bogner heads have that Cantrell tone in them; and this is from me owner a couple older Ubers, Shiva 20th, Helios 100 and an old Ecstasy!
Also pretty cool how it can go from pretty well Fryette style dry and tight to fat and saturated with a couple switch flicks and a knob turn. Sounds like a ton of usable "sweet spots" in that amp, depending what you are after!

The only thing I didn't like? Reinhold needs to start getting some of these sent north for us Canadians who ordered them. I ordered mine back in January 😢

This amp is insanely versatile...
Even something as simple as changing the presence settings can change the amp's voicing.
For example, on Hair + the mids are more scooped. So you can compensate either by adding more mids in the EQ or changing the density settings.

Thinking of getting this to replace my Marshall JVM410 for high gains and leads any opinions on if this would make others happy as a tradeoff are welcome :) Really like the sound here and seems like it can be tight or more open natural sounding if I am correct?
Yeah dude, this amp is SUPER flexible. Channel 1 is a little brighter and more ‘Marshally’ sounding. I have actually been using channel 1 for my leads and channel 2 for a brutal and tight rhythm sound lately.

Hey thx! For this vid I'm using my Torpedo Captor X, IR of a mesa oversized 4x12 w/ vintage 30s. BUT that Splawn cab is sick, and it has small blocks (similar to greenbacks). I haven't noticed the volume drop since I made this clip, so...🤞

Oh I’m not sure. I think I read on a forum that Bogner are using tung sol or another Chinese variant. Not sure how true it was though!
Bogner sounds so rich and creamy yet cuts. I love it. It's a shame they haven't tried making to watt geads. Id get one instantly.

@@Bognerman14 yah both channels have a crunch setting, and can get a nice edge of break up kind of sound too. This amp really is a beast!
Did you use your Torpedo? If so, mind making a miked clip?
I'd love too, and luckily my living situation will be more ideal for that in the near future!

Great work. But what about a few unprocessed riffs. Like with a phone recording. You could be extremely good at producing and we need to hear the phone recording to know it’s the amp
The intro song was mixed a little bit, but the play through part has no post except for a tiny bit of reverb.
Sounds dark in this video (missing a lot of highs)
I prefer it like this, but you can definitely get more highs out of it
Great playing! You make the amp sound fantastic. You are right. Jerry Cantrell used a JCM 800 modded by Reinhold Bogner on those albums. That circuit then became the Bogner Shiva.
