I was very happy for the first owner. Usually we’d give them hell for failing but not all failures are due to the way a person runs their business, it’s due to a tragedy. Her father ran it for so long that all of a sudden she’s thrust into the situation where she’s gotta juggle so much responsibility. I’m very glad Jon was able to save their bar!
This was one my favorite episodes. Truly wonderful to see this side of John, some folks need a kick in the ass and some folks need tenderness... More of these please 🖤
The first episode is my Aunt Karen & her husband Uncle Clarence. This episode is absolutely amazing and they are still up and running doing specials bringing in the people
I’m so glad to hear that if you happen to see this tell them their father is proud of them even when they weren’t doing well they kept his passion and life work alive and I’m sure he’s looking down on them now happy for their success and blessed they kept his dream and legacy alive even in times of strife.
I just adore the fact that Jon Taffer has two sides; the pissed off food throwing, and the tenderness and understanding of the situation some bar owners are in. Now granted, some bar owners need that kick in the ass and be put in line, but in these cases the owners need to be understood and supported 💗
the first one when Jon was talking to the daughter you can hear his voice breaking, he felt for this poor woman. So glad he turned it into something amazing!
@@Acusumano25 he cares and that's why most of the time he's screaming. People so far in denial they're making people sick not following basic health code stuff
I like the tender side of Jon Taffer almost as much as I enjoy watching the car door slamming, subpar food tossing, vulgar vernacular spewing side ☺️😋😊
When he said he got an army vet and marine vet to do recon, I pictured them coming in with full camo suit with the gilly suit over it and night vision sitting in the corner ordering drinks with binoculars reporting back to Jon lol.
honestly these are the episodes that really tug at your heartstrings and people you just cant get mad at for Failing it's usually a Tragedy that caused these people to fail, not the normal idiotic people that fail
After the failures tragedies excuses I feel happy when an owner can feel better about their business and where its going of course it's up to them .. bar rescue #shutitdown is awesome
The g willikers bar…I am so heart-warmed by. I wish them every best wish! Are people on Bar Rescue ever going to say “OH, MY JON TAFFER?!” (I was going to say “OH, MY JON!?” but that…sounds seriously wrong…)
Awesome Bar Rescue Moments. Jon Taffer sure help these owners protecting their legacy’s. Bet OP Bar 🚘. Champagne’s🍾 are keeping up. Also sad was Sam Jordan’s in 2019 closedown 😢.
I never understood people not living their best life, trying to live what dad wanted. As a parent I would never impose that on my kids. My dream is mine. Yours should be yours.
Damn caught it wit 50 views that's a first for me.. I was at the one here in Sumner,WA. Tbh its pretty real all that is said when we were all outside for the reveal all that Jon says is not to come up for high fives and hugs just act like he isn't there.. The rest wasn't staged well at least at Schafers it wasn't not really sucked and now is closed
Pork makes me sick. I hate when I go to a restaurant and they cross contaminate the flat top. Just a little pork grease will make me horrendous sticky stank diareah , it's awful 🤮 it'll blow out a whole house it's so gross omg . For everyone's sake Clean the fkin grill!!
Extracting species profile Kentrosaurus (/ˌkɛntroʊˈsɔːrəs/ KEN-troh-SOR-əs) is a genus of stegosaurid dinosaur from the Late Jurassic in Lindi Region of Tanzania. The type species is K. aethiopicus, named and described by German palaeontologist Edwin Hennig in 1915. Often thought to be a "primitive" member of the Stegosauria, several recent cladistic analyses find it as more derived than many other stegosaurs, and a close relative of Stegosaurus from the North American Morrison Formation within the Stegosauridae. Fossils of K. aethiopicus have been found only in the Tendaguru Formation, dated to the late Kimmeridgian and early Tithonian ages, about 152 million years ago. Hundreds of bones were unearthed by German expeditions to German East Africa between 1909 and 1912. Although no complete skeletons are known, the remains provided a nearly complete picture of the build of the animal. In the Tendaguru Formation, it coexisted with a variety of dinosaurs such as the carnivorous theropods Elaphrosaurus and Veterupristisaurus, giant herbivorous sauropods Giraffatitan and Tornieria, and the dryosaurid Dysalotosaurus. Kentrosaurus generally measured around 4-4.5 metres (13-15 ft) in length as an adult, and weighed about 700-1,600 kilograms (1,500-3,500 lb). It walked on all fours with straight hindlimbs. It had a small, elongated head with a beak used to bite off plant material that would be digested in a large gut. It had a, probably double, row of small plates running down its neck and back. These plates gradually merged into spikes on the hip and tail. The longest spikes were on the tail end and were used to actively defend the animal. There also was a long spike on each shoulder. The thigh bones come in two different types, suggesting that one sex was larger and more stout than the other.
If, and I mean if I was ever for whatever the reason to own a bar, I would make sure to have really good shot/measurement glasses available for each of the drink pourers so that they will always get the right measurements cause that one thing is a massive money saver if you are lucky enough to get tons of customers. I would be eyeballing the finances, drinks sold, cleanliness, the proper equipment (The good stuff) for pouring the drinks so as to get the most bang for your buck and minimize waste (Money loss) and always making sure that there as a back-up of whatever tanks were needed, cause as we all very well know, $*** happens. I would want the place to be inspected by a professional inspector at least once a year and my ears would be wide open for any tips (Speaking of the advice kind, lolz)/etc being given to me, let me tell you, and yes I would always have a drink recipe book on hand. For new drink mixer employees for their first 2 days they would go home and study the recipes, making sure that they have them all downpat, then during the first day they got back, they would make one of each of the drinks to show that they know what's up. In the long run this would save so much money and for each cheque giving each of the employees a fair cut of the profits on top of what they already make (If the company is making enough to hand out bonuses) would be a pretty good incentive too. I would also have an eye catching sign on the bar and one as close to the road as is legally possible so that it would be easy to see for cars coming both ways and be seen in enough time for them to react and pul into the bar to check things out. Keeping an eye on things are make sure the ship is running smoothly with good employes who are not treated as a number. If you can, also get an expert to help out with the advertising and a misologist to help out with great drink ideas, and of course the good ol liquor licence. Make sure you have more than enough money to start off with to have plenty of leadway if it take a while for the customers to start rolling in. they say not to treat workers as family, but if done right, it would be HUGE :)

To be fair usually when he's yelling they deserve it. Like when they're potentially making people sick
