My eight year old daughter has a bad case of toe walking, and will be having an MRI and an EMG in a few weeks to try and learn if there might be some underlying cause like CP. Most of the things I’ve seen on the internet about CP are about children with very poor muscle tone instead of tight like you say Emily has. My daughter also has very tight muscles and tendons, especially in her legs and feet. I really appreciate this video which shows another side of CP. I also want to mention to you, that since Naomi will soon be wearing AFOs, I’ve been searching for good shoes for her to wear with them, and have found a company called Billy Footwear which looks very promising. Maybe someone here would benefit from them too.
