People can think of all the reasons for this they want to but the bottom line is it's our poor economy. Whether you want to or not, you know who's to blame for that.
The twice impeached president who loosened regulations and cut taxes for the rich who don't even contribute to the governments taxes with sham tax laws
They recently forced a reappraisal of our home in San Diego. We live in a 1700sf house built in the 1950s, almost flat roof, single level, laminate floors, standard appliances, nothing fancy. They said it would cost half a million dollars to rebuild the house completely. Insanity.
Reasons for profit companies, Insurance companies, should not have the luxury of having costumers compelled to purchase the products they offer by law. Same with auto insurance, once it was mandatory the prices shot up.
I work for a Mortgage company and even if the customers have no claim I'm still seeing significant increases for coverage and having to pay for additional coverage that used to be included. And this affects their payments on top of taxes that are increasing. Some are simply not able to compensate for those increases and lose the home.
Definitely has the gas prices dropping low unemployment rates and a health economy thats growing after drumpf ran it into the ground with his tax cuts for the rich and loosening regulations for businesses
It’s both political parties not just the democrats. We need another party that’s for the middle class and only the middle class. Not illegal immigrants or corporations. Until dark money gets out of politics we are screwed.
The insurance went up doubled! Why do our rates go up when AZ doesn't have major weather problems. They need to regulat. The insurance companies made 140 billion last year. Stop lying . They need to be regulated.
Hey balony. How about $2000.00. To $4500.00 in one year.. Dont blame homeowners. Look at the insurance companies high rise office buildings. Maybe instead of screwing over and taking advantage of their customer base they should consider getting a back room office in a ghetto in the Phillipines or New Jersey.
Insurance companies have us right where they want us. They’ve got us concerned about illegal immigrants being bused from Texas to New York City instead of directing our focus on national companies we are all forced to do business with from gouging us repeatable over and over again . Everybody blames everything on global warming, now insurance companies have joined the bandwagon. What are we as customers to do, keep giving them more money?
The insurance industry costs are not limited to homes. The cost of liability on everything has gone up. Labor, fire, theft, lawsuits. Your insurance company is a filled with diversity as well. Who is paying for all retail theft? Frivolous lawsuits? Insurance is like socialism. Shared costs. Just like Obamacare, the sickest are the luckiest. They are subsidized.
There are unscrupulous people out there who make their living filing frivolous lawsuits. They know that most of the time the insurance companies won't fight them over $2,500 for a "slip and fall." They just settle out of court. We need to be like most of the rest of the world where the loser pays. That would hopefully put a stop to a lot of this nonsense and maybe bring down the cost of auto, health, and homeowners insurance.
GREED! You can always count on these thieves! Insurance companies are the biggest crooks in the world! No! Think about this was your risk you assumed when you took our money
Young people need to put what they would pay insurance companies away. In a few years there would be enough to pay for any damages. Insurance make billions because it is very profitable. The amout of homes damaged compared to the amout of homes insured greatly favors the insurance company. The Amish don't pay for any ripoff insurance.
Mine doubled this year! These insurance companies are greedy, just like all the other corporations. My insurance risk should be specific to my home, not the other parts of AZ where people choose to live in high risk locations. If I am not getting the benefit of having a home in the mountains where there is a high fire risk, then why am I forced to pay higher rates to offset those homeowners in the mountains/high fire risk areas of AZ? I have a small home in a very low risk area and never have had any claims in any of the 7 homes I have owned in my lifetime. I always keep up with my home maintenance and keep my yard clean and clear of all potential fire hazards. I don’t have a dog or a pool or solar panels, just a basic small home!
There’s nothing you can do to prevent your homeowners insurance from spiraling. There’s nothing you can do. Everyone knows not to file a claim. If you don’t have to that automatically raises your insurance premium. Tell us something we don’t know.
Stop building homes that cost so much to replace. Treat housing as it was intended to be SHELTER instead of a status symbol or investment and rates will go down because your home won’t cost so much to replace.
The Extinction Economy is Here! I Love the lady at the end saying "We are probably in this for another year". I guess she doesn't understand Global Warming and Climate Chaos to well, it doesn't get any better from here on out.
You didn't research the man's insurance company to see what kind of a profit they posted for the year wouldn't that be an integral part of the story journalism has become a joke
Obviously there need to be more government regulation in this industry for everyone as a whole having to pay for those who live in high risk areas once they burn or flood for the 3rd or 4th time like they do in Florida all the time.
Yes, keep paying your privat taxes and avoid asking for any help from your private land lord that you are forced to have, unless you can afford self insurance hahah.
What are they complaining about? Insurance in CA and WA is really insane. Sounds like a bunch of people who don't know how to manage their money and instead invest in garbage purchases like purses and Jordans. I feel no pity for these people.
Its price gouging! Inflation has gone down significantly. Stop listening to your news affiliates, do your own research. Corporations like these love to pass the buck.
Let me break this down for you. Your Arizona insurance rates are going up to pay the loses in Florida and California. Explain how that is fair. BTW if we nationalized insurance this would not be an issue. Homeowners would win. No one loses.
Rates are skyrocketing everywhere. Is it to expedite wall streets desire to force us all to sell so they can make us all renters ?
Yup cause Biden us a puppet
All the insurance company’s are making so much money.
They should definitely be regulated.
Corporate greed is out of control. In Arizona give me a break people in Arizona shouldn’t have to pay for people in Florida or Hawaii
Sucks big time. I switched back to my old carrier since they quoted me a bit lower than my renewal. This inflation is draining.
No, these companies are scamming people . They need to be regulated
People can think of all the reasons for this they want to but the bottom line is it's our poor economy. Whether you want to or not, you know who's to blame for that.
The twice impeached president who loosened regulations and cut taxes for the rich who don't even contribute to the governments taxes with sham tax laws
That's is totally bs if Cali has a disaster it shouldn't effect people on arizona thts crap
They recently forced a reappraisal of our home in San Diego. We live in a 1700sf house built in the 1950s, almost flat roof, single level, laminate floors, standard appliances, nothing fancy. They said it would cost half a million dollars to rebuild the house completely. Insanity.
It's called profiteering, folks. Vote for politicians fighting these guys.
None of them do so. They ask the insurance companies, “Where’s my cut?”
lol u are naive
Reasons for profit companies, Insurance companies, should not have the luxury of having costumers compelled to purchase the products they offer by law. Same with auto insurance, once it was mandatory the prices shot up.
I agree, mine went up 45%
I thought price gouging was illegal
I work for a Mortgage company and even if the customers have no claim I'm still seeing significant increases for coverage and having to pay for additional coverage that used to be included. And this affects their payments on top of taxes that are increasing. Some are simply not able to compensate for those increases and lose the home.
Not just Arizona. Many states are experiencing this. And it's vehicles too. Let's go brandon.
Arizona sounds like florida
INSURANCE GREED !!!
Wow, An insurance story that doesn't trash Florida. Thank You.
Insurance will raise rates no matter what. I have relatives with no claims ever and insurance triple.
What about all the years minimum was paid out. Insurance is the best legal scam ever
What in the hell is wrong with this country!😢
time to pick out a nice cardboard box on the corner, and have them give YOU money...
The insurance went up doubled! Why do our rates go up when AZ doesn't have major weather problems. They need to regulat. The insurance companies made 140 billion last year. Stop lying . They need to be regulated.
Pure greed... bottom line
Arizona, Florida, Texas are the states with the highest insurance premium. It's getting too costly to own a house.
And california. They got approval for another increase. Mone is high here
Everyone thinks its great that their homes have doubled in value within 3 years, it only makes sense that the insurance premiums double also.
Along with land and school taxes, assessment goes up and your next tax bill is higher, sometimes by a lot.
As long as people keep paying these rates. They will keep charging them.
Hey balony. How about $2000.00. To $4500.00 in one year.. Dont blame homeowners. Look at the insurance companies high rise office buildings. Maybe instead of screwing over and taking advantage of their customer base they should consider getting a back room office in a ghetto in the Phillipines or New Jersey.
You should see the MASSIVE Class A complex that State Farm build in Perimeter Center, in the northern suburbs of Atlanta. Very large, very high end.
Home owner insurance policy need to pass a bill to cut in all states
All part of the "you will own nothing and be happy" plan...young people will never be able to afford this..that and the new mortgage rates
But there’s no inflation says old Joe!
We are all paying for people who build in flood, fire and hurricane areas 😡
They'll raise the rates and still not pay on claims.
The idea is to run you off of your property to give it to others.
California is doing the same thing. In 2021 mine went up 800.00. 2024 it doubled.

That would hopefully put a stop to a lot of this nonsense and maybe bring down the cost of auto, health, and homeowners insurance.
So pay your policy, and if something happens, just pay out of pocket. If that’s the case, you don’t need insurance. Insurance appears to be a ripoff.
Most people have a mortgage that requires homeowners insurance.
its hapening in florida too making home sales fall through.
GREED! You can always count on these thieves! Insurance companies are the biggest crooks in the world! No! Think about this was your risk you assumed when you took our money
Exactly! We didnt make as much money last year. Let make it up by increasing rates. LoL.
As long as we're a capitalistically driven society, this will be the norm, should be no surprise to anyone anywhere in this country.
and the alternative is better?
Yeah, if only we had communism, we’d all be living in tents.
just remember to thank biden, does anyone else need more of my money !!
What about ALL THE YEARS MINIMAL HAS BEEN PAID OUT. Insurance is the biggest legal scam ever

Funny how they blame wildfires when they’re into the second year of record rain.
The American Dream has become what it is called.
Just a dream.
Well, I lived it!
❤❤USA❤❤
Insurance want more money for payment of claims all over the country

It isn't worth it to own a home anymore.
My Home owners insurance with Travelers went up 100% this year and that's with no claims.
So this will sales price of house down, yes?
MINE 200%
There’s nothing you can do to prevent your homeowners insurance from spiraling. There’s nothing you can do. Everyone knows not to file a claim. If you don’t have to that automatically raises your insurance premium. Tell us something we don’t know.
I'm lucky i didn't switch to Farmer's insurance and stayed the same, if i did i'll be facing huge increase in my insurance bill in CA
+30% here 🙋♂️
Arizona commissioner allowed it though
It's ridiculous everywhere.
You just gotta do it sure buddy haha
Pay off your home and it won’t be mandatory.
50% is ridiculous
Stop building homes that cost so much to replace. Treat housing as it was intended to be SHELTER instead of a status symbol or investment and rates will go down because your home won’t cost so much to replace.
The Extinction Economy is Here! I Love the lady at the end saying "We are probably in this for another year". I guess she doesn't understand Global Warming and Climate Chaos to well, it doesn't get any better from here on out.

Im insurance went up double
That’s why I moved from California to Arizona
You are part of the problem in Arizona.
Why, because they can. They say because the replacement costs went up.
But yet my coverage went up $10k so $2500 to $4300? BS all BS
Mine went from 780 to 3750 in on year.
2500 to 4300 here
The new motto
If you ain't rich life's a real b***h!
Get a tent.
Golly gee Wally, I wonder why?
Obviously there need to be more government regulation in this industry for everyone as a whole having to pay for those who live in high risk areas once they burn or flood for the 3rd or 4th time like they do in Florida all the time.

Lies

Its price gouging! Inflation has gone down significantly. Stop listening to your news affiliates, do your own research. Corporations like these love to pass the buck.
No, it hasn't. Have you been to the grocery store lately? Quit watching CNBC propaganda.
Capitalism needs to come to an end.
Let me break this down for you. Your Arizona insurance rates are going up to pay the loses in Florida and California. Explain how that is fair.
