I think mcfarlane needs to realize that less is more when it comes to cell shading. The mondo animated series figures are cell shaded, but are waaay more subtle. I know those are 1/6 scale, but the general paint scheme is something mcfarlane could learn from
the original release of the cycle and Batman figure has the ab- crunch but the cape that is also cloth is a little bit wider - the chin looks weird for me i guess it was Mcfarlanized - condiment king is sooo tall sheesh - i guess Todd forgot this is a 6 inch line - the wasted figure was Robin i wish he was reconfigured to be able to sit in the cycle and that there is an extra head gear for him in the cycle box- great review
@@DCMultiCollector I was tempted to get a Scarecrow to use the original Crane head on, but really not convinced. I already have like 4 of the Batman's, 3 Robins and 3 Mr Freezes. Hard to justify more. Looking forward to the next review though.
That is a brand new head sculpt, They released that body mold with the helmeted head before that is why they gave him a new head sculpt. Also that figure has an ab crunch unlike the BTAS and BTAC Batman that they have released before.

None is just 100% better

I’ll be getting this wave for sure!!
Saw all of them at target only got Robin…
I returned all mines including a2 scarecrows one of em was a platinum edition "chase"
Unfortunately, my pre-orders on this wave have been back-ordered.
And to charge $30 on toys is insane.
Does this batman come with any hands that could be used for driving hands? Since the animated series Batmobile is coming out soon.
How long do you think it'll be before Todd re-releases these without the cell shading?
You have to ask him.. The more voices the better, because these paint apps are ugly
I don’t like the paint like shadows. The cloth cape maybe due to a batmobile coming out for the figure.
Ah ha! You’re right. And the batcycle. That’s why.
pretty sure the cloth cape is for the cycle
You’re 100% correct. Forgot about that part 😉
Robin looks like he peed on his pants. Good review, however this figures are not exactly what I expected. I'm Glad I canceled my pre order.
Can the cape and cowl come off?
No
Hard pass. Already have the superior DC Direct versions and I don't care enough about the Condiment King to fork out for those.
A fair stance. The villains in this wave are much better (review soon!)
