About Me:
Chef Keith’s exciting take on Indian cuisine uses his passion for the spices and flavors of the Indian subcontinent with fresh, seasonal ingredients from New England farms to create a dining experience like no other.
Years ago, he dipped a charred piece of bread into a rich gravy that soaked each crumb like a sponge. He raised it to his mouth and closed his eyes, and that is where his journey began.
Chef Keith is a three-time author, restauranteur, and public speaker who grew up in a small city in New Hampshire in the United States. Growing up in kitchens, he learned how to cook from many amazing western chefs. Each chef would impart the knowledge passed down to them by their mentors. It wasn’t until much later in life that he would try his first bite of Indian food. He began learning under an Indian home cook and went on to study with food archeologists and historians from across India.
Keith is the co-host of the More Than Masala Podcast as well as the chef owner of Aatma Restaurant & The Farmers Dinner. He is also the author of 4 best selling cookbooks

I’m sure you’ll find yourself. ❤
yay i c appam
you have to remember the market for your product- pretty sure you do. You can recreate the tradition but your customers are ignorant and in a different world. Reaching out to them so they understand what they are offered is something a traditional vendor in India does not have to worry about. It's difficult even with pictures because the look often does not let you discriminate between different tastes so perhaps similar looking menu items are to be avoided? I'm usually happy to eat what i'm told and experiment but many are not.
Yah. This is a challenge for sure
Hey Keith what happened to your Indian trip?
I did a video on what happened :( I had to reschedule
@@chefKeithSarasin No problem 🥲
Bro be more regular and show us more cooking. We are lacking on content please. 😅😅😅
Hey my friend, first, thanks for being a part of the community here. I hope you understand, I am a chef. Not a chef who cooks at home. I travel, run kitchens and work a lot. I never wanted this channel to be like a home cook showing recipes.
My goal is to talk about food history, showcase some incredible dishes and explain how I continue to learn. Think of this more like a vlog
Learn a lil bit of Hindi more and you'll be hitting a million.
Since you know something about Indian food and the variety by region….here is an idea.. a little out there but nonetheless…a strip mall or even a section in a regular mall with different restaurants based on different regions.. kerala..Konkani..Punjabi..gujurathi…maharashtrian..Tamil nadu…7-8such restaurants in one place….maybe it’s a Vegas concept…
I freaking loveeeeeeee this
