Genuinely I think this is one of the best songs of all time. It's so heartfelt and heartbreaking and feels exactly like a bleak and barren November afternoon

Strange synchronicity to see a new song from you only a day or two after rediscovering your channel. I just last month left Montreal after five years. "Fireflies of Montreal" was probably the first song I heard on the day I moved to the city in 2013, searching for songs about Montreal, and I searched for it again a few days ago while reflecting back on my time in one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen.
