Big YES to having an easy to find Rates/Pricing page. It's my biggest pet peeve to be interested in any kind of service-based business & they DON'T list their rates & instead they want you to contact them for more info... Nope. Just lost me. & I know many ppl who feel like I do. That's just one more thing I have to do & honestly, it's not on me. I also don't want to reach out only to find out that the cost is more than I can afford. So definitely have a Rates/Pricing page (& make it accessible/easy to navigate to -- Ive seen websites have a page for it, but you have to scroll alllll the way down, after multiple pics or "5 star client reviews", just to get to the prices 🙃). Even if you dont list full prices & it's just "Starting at" rates with an a la carte/add-ons section, that's better than nothing.
Appreciate the videos but it seems like 90% of your videos now are just sponsored promotions vs. organic content like your older videos. We already know about Squarespace and honeybook and all the other AI tools you use. More organic content would be appreciated sir.

This is my first wedding season and im finding clients through facebook and instagram Ads :) Looking forward for next year already with the data that im collecting this year
Have you done a recent video on your camera gear kit? Lighting, which can you use, etc.? That would be really interesting. I think the last one I saw was from several years ago. I also find it interesting that you list your prices. I really like that. Frankly, so many artists and photographers I know do not list their prices, and I find that really weird and kind of annoying. I've been both a artist and a customer, and if someone does not list prices, I'm not going to contact them. And it's not because I can't afford it, but it's because I'm socially anxious frankly, And talking to somebody-a stranger- just to talk about money seems to me really uncomfortable. Frankly I think much of the younger generation is of this mindset to be honest.
@@jbivphotography it's weird because this seems to be an overall trend in photography, particularly wedding photography at the moment. Across all price points, to be honest… Some people, don't seem to be affected and are totally overbooked. At least that's what they say… No way to verify that information of course. but we are all getting hit pretty hard at the same time right now it seems. I'm not sure if it's the prices that is doing it though.
@@ladyethyme I'm thinking they're offering special rates to their couples or are already priced low. Either that or they were the type of photographers doing 50+ weddings a year.
thanks man, i was looking for someone talking about this. my state here in brasil is really struggling after some massive floods and this month is being really hard, i'm invested on improving my workflow to book more bc its the only thing that i can do now hahaha

It’s the price we pay for his free content. It’s so much effort to make these videos
@@girl1240 I understand that but it’s so many creative ways to do that without Segway-ing into the same services in majority of his videos.
My boy got a family to feed . Respect the hustle 💯

So your bookings picked up then? Interested to watch.
They haven’t. But I know my booking process is solid. I think it’s my price. I think I’m going to drop and see what happens.

@@jbivphotography Yeah same here in Singapore...not sure what's up and its not only weddings but any type of photography/videography in general.
Really insightful tips, John! So helpful for wedding photographers. 🙌
