What is the average distance Messi covers in a game vs Tyreek Hill? Messi averages 8-10 km per game (5-6 miles) which is about triple what a receiver has to run. Soccer requires players at the professional level to be ambidextrous. But truthfully, it's almost impossible to compare the greats of one sport to another.
