Bought a Spider Spod while in Italy about 6 years ago and not looked back, it’s the best bait delivery tool out there imo, never opens in flight and I can count on one hand the number of times it hasn’t opened on impact with the water it’s a brilliant bit of kit. Here’s a tip for you when using the competition spod which is the small version. With it being small it tends to close and fill with water on retrieval making retrieval quite difficult, I found that by drilling three 4mm or 6mm holes in each section (4 of them) solves the problem. 👍🏻
