Living in Hawaii, never heard of lots of foreign artists like Dimash, Rimar, So Hyang, etc. but it is in the discovery that you should take pride in and do not mind the negative response; there will usually be a few in most crowds. But that is why the internet is good so we can come across talents that we normally would not watch because they are not popular at the moment. But it is in reactors like you that bring them into our sphere, which I thank you and others for! I only heard of foreign artists through mainly opera; which I am not big on. But Dimash makes it so much more enjoyable and fascinating because of his talent, artistry and mixing all the genres to best serve the message of the song. An Austrian Dear is agreeing to what Sabine and others just said. Don't care about negative comments, you do a nice job, you are even taking the time and effort to get back to a misunderstanding, if it were any at all. Dimash quite often encourages young talents to move on, gives them a chance, such as have them sing at his concerts for example. Rimar, a while ago, did a very beautiful cover version of a song of Dimash called "Daididau" (absolutely recommended, and so are about 100 of his other songs), and I assume that he saw this or was informed about it and got in touch with her. I'm a 79 year old retired singer, performer, vocal coach, and I'm also a retired English teacher. I've been a Dimash "Dear" for two years, and I can tell you that most Dimash fans are highly respectful just as is Dimash. Sadly, it seems that a few of them or either rabidly delusional or just unhappy people who really don't care about Dimash and his art. He has millions of wonderful fans. Please just focus on them and ignore the others. Dimash is a musical phenomenon and amazingly humble and respectful of other artists, his mentors, his family, his fans, and people in general. BTW, he is still trying to learn English after 2 years of working at it, and he is improving. He's fluent in Kazakh & Russian. He also is working on learning Mandarin Chinese. Because he has a degree in Classical Voice, he sings really well in Italian. I appreciate your video explanation and hope you continue to follow the career of Dimash.

I want to say a few things. Bad people are everywhere. May be one of your neighbor, or your student, or an account commenting on a video, a psychopath killing an innocent creature of the world... They are everywhere besides good people. How you can't ensure your neighbors' mental health, it is same at your channel too. They will come and the only thing you can do is to ignore them. Just like we do. Secondly, at first, Dimash didn't know English. But he can sing in languages he doesn't speak.You'll see his accent at Singer performances. In time, he began to learn it and he was so cute while trying to speak. We call his English as Dinglish. Unique and perfect for us :) It's like hoping your baby continue to misspell his words till the end of life. As an English teacher, you may witness his development in language if you listen the songs in its chronological order. Btw, English is not my native language. You should see him live! Most incredible experience ever. In person he is even more powerful. You are going to hear and see some of the most beautiful music you could imagine. I found his music in 2017. I can not go a day without hearing him. Just wait until you see him do traditional Kazakh. Check out Daididau from Bastau. Not only is he playing a traditional Kazakh instrument but in traditional clothing. The emotion at the end is so touching. Please just ignore the negative comments. Some fans believe they have to defend him when in reality, he does not need it. He has stood on stages and taking criticism before and in true Dimash character, he simply strives to do better.

You just come on and did like so many of us did and does lost our words when listening to Dimash! The real "DEARS" that Dimash named us in 2017 is just like he is..loving, humble and understanding! He also heals souls! I discovered him last year just before I got really bad healthwayes and almost died! I was in hospital for almost 3 weeks and mutch of that time I can't rekal at al! Dimash voice and songs is the most I can remember and he draged me back up from death to life!!! I still have mutch health problems and fighting everyday to come back to a somewhat normal life! His songs goes night and day here. If I have a really bad night or day I go and watch reactionvideos to him! You al help me coope minute bay minute! There are many different reactors and I love it! Dude, you’re reaction was linked in the Dimash Kudaibergen International Fanclub several times, and we totally LOVED it. Why should you know everything about an artist upon your first reaction? It’s nonsense, don’t listen to haters. Dears are about love and being unified by Dimash’s art around the world. People who hate on others who simply don’t know who Dimash is, should really learn more about his approach to art and other artists first. I hope you don’t feel disheartened, and you continue the journey and let us take part in it. There is nothing sweeter to watch than people discovering Dimash, getting overwhelmed by the voice, and then falling in love with his humanity, humility, and love for mankind. You will learn he has about a million different sides to him, and you’ll never be bored. There will be ups and downs, not every song is to everybody’s liking, just like it is with every musician. Me, I never enjoy his MJ tributes (he’s a huge fan) and I always skip them when I can. But be sure that there are no simple, repetitive, easy to digest, listening in the background kind of songs to be heard from him. Every note and every word is meaningful, and as teacher in humanities, I believe you will find great depth in his art, regardless if you like a song itself or not. There will come a time very soon where you will be recommended to use Gloria Wu‘s channel for background stories to different songs (Daybreak, Daididau, Autumn Strong). I urge you to use the videos only for the background stories but to find other videos for the actual performances as Gloria pitches and slows down the videos for copyright reasons and also edits the visual material which takes away from the stage performances (I suggest you ask for Dears guidance on the correct link before you react). Some of the vocal coaches that react to Dimash tear him to pieces. One actually said the SOS performance 'left him cold'. I honestly couldn't believe it. My own boyfriend feels nothing when he watches Dimash, and when I post his videos on FB nobody watches them or clicks a like! I'm really sad that I can't share Dimash with everyone, but it just isn't possible. Everyone's taste is different. I can let you know straight away that your reaction was very respectful and it was wonderful! It is such a great pleasure to see people discover him for the first time!

Aloha teacher Paul! I know where you are coming from because I only found Dimash like three years ago. Living in Hawaii, never heard of lots of foreign artists like Dimash, Rimar, So Hyang, etc. but it is in the discovery that you should take pride in and do not mind the negative response; there will usually be a few in most crowds. But that is why the internet is good so we can come across talents that we normally would not watch because they are not popular at the moment. But it is in reactors like you that bring them into our sphere, which I thank you and others for! I only heard of foreign artists through mainly opera; which I am not big on. But Dimash makes it so much more enjoyable and fascinating because of his talent, artistry and mixing all the genres to best serve the message of the song. Welcome to the World of Dimash. I have been a Dimash fan for almost 4 years. Dimash‘ talents are out of this world. I personally believe, Dimash is a Music Virtuoso of our time. He is from Kazakhstan and will be 27 (in May 2021). Dimash has been formally training and performing for over 21 years. At the age of 5 years old it was determined he had perfect pitch. Dimash is often referred to as the Best Singer (male) in the World. Dimash is known for his exceptionally wide (bass to soprano to whistle register) vocal range. It is recorded that he has a range higher than Six (6) Octaves and continues to improve his ranges and techniques. Dimash is a phenomenal Vocal Storyteller.
Dimash calls his style an "Innovation" [Neo-Classicism] in the Classical Crossover Genre. There are many debates whether Dimash is a Tenor or Baritone. Many vocal coaches have the opinion that Dimash is a high Baritone. Dimash combines many Styles such as Classical (Opera), Contemporary (Modern, Pop, R&B, Jazz, Rap), Estrada and traditional Kazakh folk music.
Dimash is multi-talented, Singer [12 languages], Multi-instrumentalist [7 instruments], Composer and Performer. As a sidebar; Dimash [he is 1.91cm / 6ft 3in tall] has done Modelling for well known Fashion Labels, Lifestyle and Fashion magazines.
Dimash graduated in 2014 from Music Institute in Classical Music with Major in Vocal Opera (Bel Canto). Dimash continued his education with University studies in Contemporary Music and graduated in 2018 with a Major in Vocal Contemporary Pop & Jazz. In the Summer of 2020, Dimash graduated with a Master of Music Composition. Dimash has been invited for 2020/2021 to continue his doctorate studies in Music at the same University. Dimash speaks Kazakh, Russian and has a working knowledge of English.
It is phenomenal & emotional to be in the audience for a live Dimash performance or Concert. I attended his Solo «Arnau-Envoy» Concert at Barclays NYC, USA in December 2019. Dimash performs and interacts with the audience, which provides an entertaining experience.

An Austrian Dear is agreeing to what Sabine and others just said. Don't care about negative comments, you do a nice job, you are even taking the time and effort to get back to a misunderstanding, if it were any at all. Dimash quite often encourages young talents to move on, gives them a chance, such as have them sing at his concerts for example. Rimar, a while ago, did a very beautiful cover version of a song of Dimash called "Daididau" (absolutely recommended, and so are about 100 of his other songs), and I assume that he saw this or was informed about it and got in touch with her. I'm a 79 year old retired singer, performer, vocal coach, and I'm also a retired English teacher. I've been a Dimash "Dear" for two years, and I can tell you that most Dimash fans are highly respectful just as is Dimash. Sadly, it seems that a few of them or either rabidly delusional or just unhappy people who really don't care about Dimash and his art. He has millions of wonderful fans. Please just focus on them and ignore the others. Dimash is a musical phenomenon and amazingly humble and respectful of other artists, his mentors, his family, his fans, and people in general. BTW, he is still trying to learn English after 2 years of working at it, and he is improving. He's fluent in Kazakh & Russian. He also is working on learning Mandarin Chinese. Because he has a degree in Classical Voice, he sings really well in Italian. I appreciate your video explanation and hope you continue to follow the career of Dimash.

😍, it's funny how hesitant I was back then to react to Dimash. I thought I would be torn apart, but dears are loving and kind! Love being part of them!
I want to say a few things. Bad people are everywhere. May be one of your neighbor, or your student, or an account commenting on a video, a psychopath killing an innocent creature of the world... They are everywhere besides good people. How you can't ensure your neighbors' mental health, it is same at your channel too. They will come and the only thing you can do is to ignore them. Just like we do.
Secondly, at first, Dimash didn't know English. But he can sing in languages he doesn't speak.You'll see his accent at Singer performances. In time, he began to learn it and he was so cute while trying to speak. We call his English as Dinglish. Unique and perfect for us :) It's like hoping your baby continue to misspell his words till the end of life.
As an English teacher, you may witness his development in language if you listen the songs in its chronological order.

You should see him live! Most incredible experience ever. In person he is even more powerful. You are going to hear and see some of the most beautiful music you could imagine. I found his music in 2017. I can not go a day without hearing him. Just wait until you see him do traditional Kazakh. Check out Daididau from Bastau. Not only is he playing a traditional Kazakh instrument but in traditional clothing. The emotion at the end is so touching. Please just ignore the negative comments. Some fans believe they have to defend him when in reality, he does not need it. He has stood on stages and taking criticism before and in true Dimash character, he simply strives to do better.
You don't have to be intimidated. The type of experience can be described as "pleasantly amazed confusion". You just come on and did like so many of us did and does lost our words when listening to Dimash! The real "DEARS" that Dimash named us in 2017 is just like he is..loving, humble and understanding!
He also heals souls! I discovered him last year just before I got really bad healthwayes and almost died! I was in hospital for almost 3 weeks and mutch of that time I can't rekal at al!
Dimash voice and songs is the most I can remember and he draged me back up from death to life!!! I still have mutch health problems and fighting everyday to come back to a somewhat normal life! His songs goes night and day here. If I have a really bad night or day I go and watch reactionvideos to him! You al help me coope minute bay minute! There are many different reactors and I love it! Not everyone needs to know what a D8 is becouse you discover it anyway as we many did! I found someone that are speaking chinese and he explaines what the lyrics really mean and he is great at drewing! He drew Dimash for us al to se how he did it to!

There’re lots of people even in the music industry who don’t know about Dimash (unfortunately). You shouldn’t be embarrassed but feel fortunate because now you know him. Why should you know everything about an artist upon your first reaction? It’s nonsense, don’t listen to haters. Dears are about love and being unified by Dimash’s art around the world. People who hate on others who simply don’t know who Dimash is, should really learn more about his approach to art and other artists first.
I hope you don’t feel disheartened, and you continue the journey and let us take part in it. There is nothing sweeter to watch than people discovering Dimash, getting overwhelmed by the voice, and then falling in love with his humanity, humility, and love for mankind. You will learn he has about a million different sides to him, and you’ll never be bored. There will be ups and downs, not every song is to everybody’s liking, just like it is with every musician. Me, I never enjoy his MJ tributes (he’s a huge fan) and I always skip them when I can. But be sure that there are no simple, repetitive, easy to digest, listening in the background kind of songs to be heard from him. Every note and every word is meaningful, and as teacher in humanities, I believe you will find great depth in his art, regardless if you like a song itself or not.
There will come a time very soon where you will be recommended to use Gloria Wu‘s channel for background stories to different songs (Daybreak, Daididau, Autumn Strong). I urge you to use the videos only for the background stories but to find other videos for the actual performances as Gloria pitches and slows down the videos for copyright reasons and also edits the visual material which takes away from the stage performances (I suggest you ask for Dears guidance on the correct link before you react).

Some of the vocal coaches that react to Dimash tear him to pieces. One actually said the SOS performance 'left him cold'. I honestly couldn't believe it. My own boyfriend feels nothing when he watches Dimash, and when I post his videos on FB nobody watches them or clicks a like! I'm really sad that I can't share Dimash with everyone, but it just isn't possible. Everyone's taste is different.

Hey Paul, ignore those toxic people and just go on reacting to Dimash. I knew Dimash only 10 months ago, and still got stunned every time watching/hearing him. No need to be musical expert to react to Dimash. Just show your sincere reaction. Losing words is also a good one. And we don't need to understand what he's singing to feel the message and emotion he is conveying.

Hi Teacher Paul. I am very thankful for your reaction on Dimash's creativity. I too was shock when i first heard Dimash. Yes, he has a huge fan base around the world but still there are many who do not know Dimash yet. We as dears want to spread his name and introduce his talents.

I feel sorry if there were some people who were hostile, but please don't think they represent the fan base. They can be haters disguised as Dears, someone who are over protective of Dimash... Very sorry to hear that you felt threatened. As you mentioned, I believe most of Dears are happy to welcome anyone who has just found Dimash. Just be who you are, react if you fee like it, say what you feel, and you don't even have to love all of his works. Most of us got Dimashfied at some point, so we understand the state of confusion you are in.
