    My life changed when i discovered cami bras! Camis with attached shelf bras! Genius! Uniqlo ones are expensive but soo comfy.. they have them in h& m aswell and amante also makes them.. as far as periods are concerned i hav not looked back since i started using menstrual cups from shecup back in 2015! Truly wld never go back to tampons, pads or anything like that again.

      I've had uniqlo in the past but they seem to run large based on their own sizing. I passed them on to mom. Now i saw one of their new designs & ordered it, let's see. It's so expensive! I've now loved bratops because I generally wear bralettes rather than regular bras with defined cups, so I find bra tops a bit stuffy and suffocating, but I'm giving them another try hehe. I also have b cups and I feel like the cups on these could be a bit large for me.
      I also switched to a menstrual cup in 2021 I think? I still leak on the first few days despite trying different cups, initially I'd have to use a pad too but now cup + period underwear is the PERFECT sweet spot for me.

      @@MagaliVaz I think it's matter of size when it comes to menstrual cup. If the size is perfect then u get an airtight no leak fit. I have never leaked unless the cup is too full and I haven't had the chance to change it. As far as the bra tops are concerned I use size L or M in Uniqlo whichever is available. Haven't had a problem with the size thank god. Im a 36b. Give the h&m one a try too.. You also get basic bra cami from amante. Thou they look like camis only with spaghetti straps and basic beige rose n black option. Comfy thou. Ghar k liye ekdum sahi hai😃 waiting for Uniqlo sale so I can grab a few more plus the dresses with bra in them! Truly all dresses and tops shld come with attached cups yaar!

    I have been seeing ads for this so much lately. Watching a video from you is making me want to try them out. What fabric option did you choose and how do you like it? TIA ❤

      I have the modal one! I really like it but I'm definitely curious to try more options. This is the best amongst the three total brands I've tried in comfort and absorbency imo (kotex thinx is second & marks and spencers is the most mediocre but still usable).

    Hi Magali, What about developing infections due to microbial development. Even if it says Anti microbial, it might still hold onto some bacteria from the flow

      Hi Alisha, I've not faced any issue with using any period underwear either overnight or for a long day. I tend to hand wash quickly and line dry. Isn't there the same amount of risk for pads? I find this option much kinder to my skin and the environment. ❤

      @MagaliVaz HI Magali, Pads are disposable, so the probability of you getting in contact with leftover microbes is not that high, but with cloth, it is there. Just wanted to put it out. Please be careful with these products. Love as always

      Fair enough 🫠 the way I see it, there's health risk with almost every option. I was happy with my pads for more than 10 years till I started getting rashes, mild at first but then they became severe and unbearable. I tried different brands, varieties, nothing was usable. so I was forced to switch to the cup which I'm happy with, and period underwear as a backup. I've unfortunately heard of a content creator who got a severe infection from a cup too. 😭 So I guess it's just what works for each person.

      @MagaliVaz That's true. To each, it's own. But about getting rashes from pads, TMI but I've figured out it's the area being wet that leads to it the most of the times. So using toilet papers to keep it dry even after you sweat a lot might help. It's definitely a hassle and a double edge sword since it affects the environment too. Being a woman is a WIP always 🫠

      @@AlishaMakkar wasn't the case for me, Alisha. I developed eczema too within a few months of those rashes really starting. It used to flare up within few minutes of contact with a pad EVEN if I wasn't menstruating (like sometime I'd put it on if I thought I might get my period). They were both mildly itchy & extremely painful / irritated. I figured that I developed an allergy to some material or chemical that was being used in pads. :(
      While I am happy that the products I use now are reusable & relatively sustainable, I'd never begrude any person who uses disposables too, it really is about listening to your body. You're so right about the WIP part. I do wish for a reduction & eventual elimination of period poverty because I understand we are lucky to have access to many different period products but there needs to be wider access overall too. 🫂

    How to wash it after use

    • @MagaliVaz
      @MagaliVaz  12 днів тому

      Few separate rinses (3-4) under running water or in a bucket (cool water only) & then wash as normal in a bucket or machine with your other clothes (usually just with my delicates)
