  • I bought an old pre-facelift petrol Porsche Cayenne S which has the 4.8 V8s engine which is the same engine as the Porsche Cayenne Turbo and GTS models. The Porsche Cayenne has been running for 20 years now kicking off in 2002 with the original Cayenne. In this video I talk about the cost and prices of the optional spec extras, the price of the car when it was new and the values of this one now that it is 15 years old.

I've owned 3 Cayenne S's from that era. I loved the 26.4 gallon gas tank and how big and comfortable the seats are. The air suspension is so handy here in snowy Colorado. I'm jealous!

Always loved what Porsche did with the Cayenne when they entered the SUV market. Made to rival Range Rover, still drove and performed like a Porsche according to reviews I saw and read at the time. Built like a tank. Very impressive at first attempt!

The early 2000's VAG cars are a lot politer than modern cars "please refuel" on the dash rather than just a beep and fuel light 🤪 I always thanks my mk5 golf for being so polite but just swear at my mk6and say "why can't you be polite like the mk5 🤣🤣

It does, and it is. 3.2 with powerup in older ones, 3.6 in the ones of same year as this or newer... dont know about increased value though... maybe in 50 years..

@@Shamsul211 These cars can find a lot of ways to break your wallet, not just by the engine... Especially if you got one with all the "spec" fitted. To be fair, probably not many V6:s that does.
Might still be worth it though, depending on what one is looking for, thats why I got a turbo one. Not a commuter car, thats for sure.
