Christendom is so confused. For believers in JC to claim that they don’t worship JC only the Father, shows that they don’t know their own Church history. At the Council of Nicaea in 325 CE, the Church Fathers finally came to an agreement on major issues including how they defined JC’s role.
Please consider getting Rabbi Tovia Singer’s 2 volume book, ‘Let’s Get Biblical’ otherwise, any further arguments defending the NT will continue to look foolish.

Being an ex-mormon myself , i enjoyed this view from Rabbi singer. I have delved in Christian religions,as well, in the past, but found all of them to be devoid of satisfaction. I did find some good at times but it wasn't sustaining to keep returning. Admittedly, some people were strong in their convictions and wondered numerous times, am I missing something ? Rabbi,your answers sound very profound in wisdom. Thank you.
I've been in a similar situation. What helped me was realizing that satisfaction isn't derived from the acquisition of things - a creed, group, or system of ideas. It's the result of falling in love with Someone.

@@JohnSincerity Thanks for relating. Oddly,I never became attached to those things. Behaviour and a relation with Someone,as you say, was my ambition. At times I felt good where I was, but then the longer I stayed the more I found flaws in the Theology and belief became skeptic at best, about theism and what they were teaching. Rabbi Singer,I listen to on/off, has given me some light to seek once again. Judaism always interested me,being the original, but not emphasised much,compared to the big two, Islam and Christianity. Mormons, which was the latest search, was fascinating. Some good/successful people, family oriented but their beliefs,as Tovia would say, are spiked. When they were worshipping Joseph Smith, my lips could not speak those preferred words. I was well regarded by the church bishop and lasted 8 years with numerous callings. I married in the Temple and my wife has been a member since ten yrs old.Sadly/triumphantly, we both stop attending. Sorry for lamenting.

Please begin to pray to G-D and ask for The Wisdom that The Sacred Divine Hebrew Scripture reveals. Let your struggles work themselves out, and you will be brought back into the Light of G-D. The Psalms and Proverbs are meant for all people , for all time, and you will find yourself in them. They will begin to guide your Faith back to The Truth of The One True G-D. Tell G-D, "I am struggling and have lost my way, I need help to to get on the right path" G-D cares for you and loves you deeply and wants only the best for you. You will find your way back to G-D....!!

For me, these conversations are more of an intellectual curiosity. I also will occasionally watch atheist/theist debates. Neither side ever offers any solid evidence for their position. If G-D doesn't exist, then were did all of creation come from? Since there must be a first cause , thought or movement for all creation . Nothing is it's own creation but must have a creator. The energy of The Big Bang didn't exist from eternity, which science proves by the continuity of the universe. Therefore there must be a First Cause or creator to create the energy of the Big Bang. Science , engineers, craftsman etc are not able to create their materials out of nothing, they must go to an original source to build anything. Science is not able to build the emotion of love or thought . These are spiritual points given by the creator.This original source must be an all powerful, intelligence point , that has existed eternally, . This source would be G-D that had no beginning and has no end ,the creator of the infinite universe since only a Divine eternal G-D could create infinity. You will discover G-D exists and will find the peace and joy that comes only from G-D 🥀
It is amazing how Tovia denounces Christianity but can't deny what God says about Himself. In the Shema, God refers to Himself as One in unity (echad). God never says that He is one (yachid). The Trinity has existed eternally.

Rabi Singer thanks for teaching the true gospel, for fulfilling the the times of exposing the true and only God Hashem, to the world that is lost to Christianity, i believe the these are wonderful times, that these digital technologies and times all allowing Judaism to be exposed to the world,a lot of us have found the truth on our own, no one had to twist or arm to believe in Hashem.
The rapid secularization/intermarriage of Jews in the West combined with a distracted secular state of Israel fighting for its existence in the East, to me, would seem to suggest the opposite as religiosity worldwide continues to decline.

Everyone you know could be devoted to Mormonism and you will be ostracized from society if you aren’t. Your children won’t have friends and nobody will do business with you.

I grew up Church of England, and while I was never a proper believer, I did spend some time as 'born again', and yes I did have spiritual experiences - but I had spiritual experiences from 12 step programmes and the new age 'law of attraction' schizz too.

Bereshit (Genesis, lit. "In the Beginning"), if read in English, commonly says "in the first day... "...second day..." etc. But how can there be a day (as in a 24 hr period) if there is no sun and earth, which defines what we think of as day? The answer is quite simple - day has another meaning. When you say "back in my day" are you referring to a single 24 hr period or a general era of reference? So the best understanding of Creation is there were 6 eras of creation of unknowable duration before Hashem rested in the 7th era (7th day).
Essentially, the universe was expanding over the period of six days, causing time to expand as well. This is how 13.8 billion years can fit within a few days.

Rabbi Singer, I did pray and G.d gave me to know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. He was and is the Messiah, and He will come again. This is my experience.

@aarontaylor6156 Yes, you get entire paragraphs that are completely identical to the ones in the KJV Bible, down to punctuation. The odds of that being a coincidence given the amount of identical text verges on zero. Translation errors that were made in the KJV version that Joseph Smith had (and that were later corrected) also found in the Book of Mormon...
The Testimony (burning of the bossom) thing they do is interesting, but only works on people who have not read any of the scripture the bom is actually derived from.

If Jesus is God, then why did he have temptations when the Bible says that God cannot be tempted?

Also if Jesus is God, then how is it that he grew in Wisdom and Grace...here it is seen that Jesus was a Child with great wisdom about the knowledge of God, but as he grew he increased in Wisdom...if he were God, at birth or being little he would have full knowledge, but this is not the case, but his wisdom grew little by little

And if Jesus is God, why did he pray to God, or why did he say that God was his God in the same way that we do, or why does he say that it is not the same to say a bad word to the Messiah as to the Holy Spirit, etc...?

He is only a Son of Man...but he was fully guided by the Holy spirit that was in him (the 7 spirits/eyes of God that the prophets prophesied), if anyone was against the spirit that he manifested thus making God known as a Light, you were rejecting God, and therefore Life.
He is God's chosen one who would possess the 7 Spirits/eyes of God in him, the Anointed One/Christ...he is not God, but the Fullness of God was in him and he made him known as a Light to the World in Darkness that did not know God.

Иисус Христос как историческая личность существовал:

1) Был человек, которого звали Тоцит - это римский гражданин, из очень бедной обыкновенной семьи, который сделал потрясающую карьеру историка, он исследовал историю Римской империи и достиг самых больших высот при Риме.
Тацит вспоминает об Иисусе Христе следующими словами:

«Цезарь Нерон, дабы отвратить от себя подозрение в поджоге Рима, свалил вину на христиан и их, ненавидимых народом за позорные дела, предал изысканным наказаниям. Под словами «пагубное суеверие» Тацит имел ввиду христианство. Он был язычником и никакого отношения к христианству не имел. Родился он в середине первого века, умер в начале второго века и был почти очевидцем жизни Иисуса Христа, или вернее слышал от последователей и о последователях, что некая историческая персона, как Иисус Христос, действительно жил в той местности где жил сам Тоцит.

2) Сирийский библейский историк, звали его Мара бар Серапион. Он был историк и писатель, о нём было очень мало сведений, но было найдено одно письмо, которое он пишет своему сыну, пытаясь объяснить ему нелёгкие повороты жизни, различные проблемы связанные с человеческой судьбой. Пытаясь показать в этом небольшом письме, в жизни есть, как справедливость, так и не справедливость. И он упоминает Иисуса Христа как жившую личность:

Он был вне библейский историк, и Бога он называет божеством на языческий лад, он вспоминает о том, что был Иисус Христос, как историческая личность.

3) Самый известный и распространённый историк - это Иосиф Флавий. Об Иисусе Христе он написал две заметки, и одна из них следующая, в буквальном переводе это звучит так:

«В это время (управления Пилата Иудеей) является Иисус, мудрый человек, если впрочем человеком его называть надо, ибо был он удивительных дел свершителем, учителем людей, с удовольствием истину принимающих, - и многих как иудеев, так и еллинов привлек. И после того как Пилат, по жалобе знатных мужей наших, осудил его на распятие, не прекратились ранее полюбившие Его (не исчезли ученики, любившие Его). Ещё и теперь не прекратилось поколение христиан, названных по имени Его...»

Почему такие вопросы возникают? Потому что сегодня появилось очень много мнений.
Одно мнение говорит, что Иисус Христос - это собирательный образ из разных иудейских скитающихся раввинов, которые жили в то время.
Многие говорят что Иисуса Христа вообще никогда не было, Его Греки придумали и продали Его Евреям, а Евреи обратно продали Его Грекам.
Есть масса различных теорий и гипотез, но исторические факты, эти небольшие зарисовки, говорят нам об обратном: Иисус Христос, таки да, как историческая личность существовал!
Это не выдумки, не теории и не какие-то фантазии...

Here is an intellectual awakening.....from Mormonism to Christianity to Judaism. Only one more step to go...to atheism, and then she has reached enlightenment.

G_d sent them out of Gan Eden so they wouldn't eat of the tree of Life, they needed to rectify what they did wrong and not make things worse. G-d clothed them and sent them away from making things worse. Only worship the One true G-d and have no other gods before His face. Help the destitute, widow, and orphan. Be a good person. Don't take G-d's name in vein.

Actually, no! You either believe that God gave us His ETERNAL (i.e. STILL in effect and binding TODAY - a LIVING document!) words at Mt. Sinai, or you don't! If you don't, you're in the wrong comment section, and you should immediately go to an Atheist comment section. If you DO believe that God gave us His words at Mt. Sinai, that means that you believe that God is NOT a LIAR (God forbid!!) and that the words He gave to us there are His Truth, and that they have been preserved by Him, right up to the PRESENT day, which is what the Rabbi, and we, who have left Christianity and now learn from the Rabbis, as commanded by God in Deut. 17:8-11 believe, then you should continue to learn from the Orthodox Rabbis, and eventually, what they teach us about Mt. Sinai, will make sense. I didn't believe what they had to say at first, either, but the more I listened to what the Orthodox Rabbis taught, the more sense the Hebrew Bible (TANACH) made, and the less sense the Christian Bible made, to the point that I and my family had no choice but to leave the pagan falsehoods of Christianity after 40+ years.
If you actually read what the Hebrew Bible says, it tells us that the ENTIRETY of the information in the Hebrew scriptures (Torah, Prophets and Writings, i.e. Psalms, Proverbs, etc.) given to Moses at Mt. Sinai (including the Talmud!), was NOT in fact "written by men", but by God Himself!

What I was trying to say is that we don’t know anything for sure; we had the original version somewhere in history but the rewritten copies that followed are all fallible. Also, human language does not adequately convey His Glory, His Essence in all of us. Our ancestors didn’t and neither do we today.
In the afterlife that I experienced, we don’t come anywhere near close, in this life, to understanding who He is and what He expects of us.
Trying to figure it all out, believing I can, but the reality is that it’s impossible with the knowledge I was given, that we’ve been given.
I can say with confidence that there’s absolutely nothing to fear when our time here comes to an end. Everything else is up for interpretation. Since we’re all unique, why wouldn’t our journey here reflect the same?
Yes, He gave us guidelines, so to speak, on how to make the best decisions possible. How His commandments are understood is a different matter.
I believe in them. The question of who wrote what is important. Maybe they were not educated enough to fully understand and subsequently relay the message. Maybe they misunderstood the true meaning when translating.
For me personally, Judaism makes the most sense and I am in the process of aligning myself with this faith. Not because I believe they have verifiable, undisputed knowledge of the truth. I’m aligning myself with Judaism because it’s the closest I’m going to get to His teachings.
