Indian 2 (also marketed as Indian 2: Zero Tolerance) is a 2024 Indian Tamil-language vigilante action film directed by S. Shankar, who co-wrote the script with B. Jeyamohan, Kabilan Vairamuthu and Lakshmi Saravana Kumar. It is the second instalment in the Indian trilogy and sequel to Indian (1996). Kamal Haasan reprises his role as Senapathy, an ageing freedom fighter turned vigilante who fights against corruptionIn the film, following years after the events in Indian, Senapathy returns from abroad to aid Chitra Aravindhan and his team, who has been exposing corrupt politicians in the country through videos on the internet.

Senapathy is an iconic character...Well written...They turned this character into a joker. He did the same thing to Chitti in endhiran... He made the same in 2.0
Not at all. Chitti was established like that from very beginning from Robot 1 but Senapathy was a serious character but here it is just 😔😔😔😔.

Bro, the writer behind Indian-1 died years ago. Since his death, Shanker hasn't found a suitable replacement. I wouldn't watch any other shanker film
agreed but Shankar has his own trademark and you can't credit Sujatha for a whole movie. He didn't do on-screen screenplay but Shankar did. He has had a good experience working with him which he should have learnt and applied to instead of just relying on someone if that is what he lacks. if yes, then Shankar needs to find a better writer and work with them

You are very gracious to find something good in it . There is nothing to like in the film after first 20-25 mins , once Kamal Hassan enters the story the movie nosedives and never recovers

The first time i watched ur review of lucifer and beeshmaparvam i understood malayalam mass is different from hindi,telugu,tamil&kannada.
Our way of dialogue delivery cannot be felt by dialogue delivery
Atleast ashwitha chechi gets it dont know what it is but bengalies understands malayalies more than tamilians
Indian 2 narrative had potential but totally lost in execution
Turbo was technically solid but didn't utilise the potential of the setup and became boring
Lucifer had the problems of stakes and conflicts, there is lack of challenge to the hero and the big twist at the end means nothing to me
@@NonaPrince i could argue with u on some of ur problems with lucifer especially about why he didnt reacted to anything in the 1sthalf and why there was not much challenges for the main character to go through but its pointless to argue with someone who is not that much into this type of movie.
I remember i wanted to clarify some doughts of u after watching ur review but was difficult to say it in english,since i am a little weak in english scentance makeing.
Also i sometimes i feel that if u had seen lucifer now it would have worked more for u since u now know more about current malayalam industry(also bec now u are much more forgiveing than old times).
And subtitles couldn't clearly express what dialogues really mean.guruvayoorambalanadayil worked for u because of good subtitles.

I couldnt say this in ur review of RRR . i dont know why but RRR didnt even touched my heart even a little and i was literally laughing and makeing fun of characters in many scenes maybe it happens when we watch movies with friends(i watched it in ott also with my bro and i was remembering the laugh i had in theatre). Like i totaly gets it why foreigners like it but for me who have watched many movies like that i only liked vfx and camera works.
I remember it was not as huge as baahubali2 in kerala.but literally everyone outside kerala really liked it and have never seen something like this.
For me ssr's best work is eecha(story is simple but how he could make an emotional connect with a fly was really the best),baahubali,dheera was also incridible.

It's because it's like that, Bobby is a small villain infront of Khureshi... He is the leader of Illuminati secret society which is controlling the whole world.. For such a person, Bobby and other villains showing in Lucifer is not a challenge.... Also, the movie have a second layer, if you know more about Illuminati concept and watch it again, you will be greatly impressed by the movie.. Each and every scenes and dialogues are very important in the movie..... It's one of the well written movie came from Mollywood..... Try to understand it and watch it again before Empuraan rather than complaining about it.........
Just keep one thing in mind, Ab'Raam Khureshi is the one who is the leader of Illuminati secret society which controls the whole world, if you keep this in mind, you will get what the movie about.

shankar to me is the south indian equivalent of bansali, who think bigger is better and measure in terms of 100s of crores spent. His last coherent story was Robo/Enthiran.. every movie since then has been complicated, overdone stories which are a attack on the senses.. coherent story telling has fallen by the wayside , effects taking its place instead.

Shankar sir’s have been a cringefest since Sivaji the Boss. Finally, he has reached the peak. But that will not stop me from watching it on big screen.
I don't know why you keep saying doesn't add to the story doesn't add to the story I mean look at the sets the hard work behind it it looks really really good and it gives a good feeling when you see all these gold gold palace and all those you know super cars and big big sets it just gives you really good feeling it's all about the hard work man Shankar is a huge director and I love this all the movies this one unfortunately I couldn't watching cinemas I was waiting but in my city they didn't show and I didn't have time to go anywhere else to watch but look at all the new things as well because the varmam that use with his finger they didn't show all this in 1996 now is showing different different things like people become running like horse or the Saliva is coming out of someone until they die etc etc instead of criticizing you should respect the hard work behind this movie that Shankar put up and then Kamal Haasan his legend all those things everyone is saying stretching stretching of course you know like this spend so much money Shankar want to show each and every bit in a detail that's why he show all those Vermam every thing in a very detailed manner

Watched Indian when it was released in 1996 & felt it was cringe, with the sole saving grace being Kamal as Senapathi, it had nothing going for it. And when I watched the trailer I couldn’t believe they couldn’t make a film worse than the first but how mistaken was I watching this cringe fest unfold on the screen (on release day)! In this instalment, even Kamal couldn’t save it! What a ridiculous movie!
About time Shankar stops making such putrid stuff.

Late Sujatha Sir had always filled the gaps with his thought provoking dialouges nd uncredited writeups, on right time !!! But that's just a memory now!!! Shanker Sir should update his styles 2 suit the mordern India !!! I mean yes I know the story of Indian 2 had written in 2017 but much have happened after that !!! Yet the technical aspects r good!!! Could've edited well, 2 avoid the repetitions nd an unbearable runtime!!! The Team could've researched more in their own seas!!!
