      If you clean the bath toys regularly the black mould doesn’t grow. I’m a grandma and have done that since mine were babies. And none of my children or grandchildren have got sick from bath toys.

      That's awesome! You must be an awesome grandma! ❤️ I guess my cleaning wasn't reaching the inside of those toys, although they did last a few years 😊

    This video was great!! With the pandemic woes and starting a new job, I have fallen sooo far behind on cleaning my kids’ toys. You broke everything down perfectly and made it look easy. I’m motivated to get it done finally!

    Thank you, very informative! I just washed the surface of some soft toys with the mixture of dish soap, vinegar, and water. How do we get rid of the vinegar smell afterwards?

    • @countrywifelife
      @countrywifelife  2 роки тому

      The smell SHOULD go away when they dry fully. I use vinegar as laundry softener and my clothes always dry without the smell 🙂 if you thought it needed it, you could always do a water only wipe down as a rinse.

    You mentioned that toys should be stored in an open air. The one I have is a cube storage box that comes with cubies boxes. But the boxes doesn't have open air. Do you think I need to get another toy storage? Thanks

      Hi! As a parent I feel like we do our best to stay organized and also stay functional. I'm sure you're the same! I feel like open air applies mostly in moist environments, and if there's some air flow at all I'm sure the toys are going to be just fine! In the bath, I think nets or air drying are best, but if you have a different setup and never notice mold or buildup, then that's awesome! Just be sure to keep an eye on things esp if you have teething age children who put moisture into toys and put toys that have been stored into their mouth ❤️ thanks for watching and commenting!

    Can figures like NECA Godzilla toys get mold in it?

      I dont have those personally, but I would say to be on the safe side just check to see if there's any holes or cracks water can get into by soaking or squeezing, and not get out of very easily. If water gets in and can't get out, it can create a mold-friendly environment. I hope this helps! Ssorry I didnt see this sooner.
