Kindergarten Class Recites the 10 Commandments

Each year, our kindergarten class memorizes Exodus 20:1-17 and recites the passage together in front of an audience. This is the future class of 2034.
WHY RECITE SCRIPTURE?
At a classical Christian school, areas of study are approached as interconnected disciplines that point to the truth, goodness, and beauty of God, the Creator of all things. From a young age, students memorize many passages of Scripture in order to develop a firm foundation of knowledge in which to ground their future studies.
