I found this game very addictive and the most important thing is to understand that it is only a game, not a full time job, but if you want to play this, try to play in a professional way, like a football player, that includes: train, plan, practice and play. When you play, try one or two competitive matches only, take notes (and record your games) this is an impressive boost. 5:15 ive watched few vids of yours and subscribed but imo game reviewing isnt that important, rather you should learn from your mistakes as the game is still on going and take mental notes what the enemy did and if they keep doing it, punish it. Enemy is lurking constantly the same predictible pattern and areas? Stay back and you get a frag. Enemy keeps going only to one site because it keeps working for them? Call a stack. I know to everybody these things may be not so obvious but should be. I have 3000 hours on cs and it took alot of time to become good at that game and thanks to cs, val is 10x more easier to get into. (Also recording your games takes so much space after a few games its not worth it unlike in cs where its all done in game)
A bit late, but while kills are nice developing a better mindset around the objective and defusing or planting will help moreso in terms of improvement. Team deathmatch is a great trainer for general skill, and the base gamemodes do give you wins if you can kill the enemy team. Except if you're on defense and they plant, then you need to defuse, or if you're on attack you still need to get the spike to one of the sites. Being able to play with your team better and organize around them rather than going on a tear should see some improvement to win rate or how close you get to winning
Then you didn't understood anything from my videos. I criticize stupid routines, that are set in stones, and people that tell you "this routine will get you to Radiant" not actual aim training.
