A good translation , imo , is not the one that just translates word to word. It should translate the meaning , the emotion, the scene and everything that emphasises the speech as closely as possible. Idk japanese but I hear that they have a wide variety of words and sounds , and that their speech consists of more than what english words can convey so sometimes , a translation that is not exactly right word to word may represent the speaker in a more "true-to-character" way and that , imo is what a good translator does .
The weirdest part is that Matsuri isn't the only hololive member that has wacky face capture as Fubuki's capture is also a sight to see. I don't know what's wrong with her hardware but she always look like she high on drugs and i'm sure i'm not the only one who noticed.
