Came here after Kantara. That movie made me feel proud. And now I am even more prouder seeing the traditional flavours of our India. Coz of Bollywood's dominance we were so very much inclined n attached to the Western culture, that we didn't pay any heed to our own cultures that are so colorful n beautiful in the whole world. That is why films like Kantara n Kartikeya 2 found our love. And moreover these movies were so brilliantly presented that just word of mouth was enough to advertise it. Thank you Rishab Shetty for giving a wonderful masterpiece😍. Feel proud as an Indian. Love from Guwahati, Assam

As I have witnessed since childhood similar ritual in Upper shimla areas of Himachal, where the devtas & Devis(local diety) speak to local populace through a Gur.There is a famous story of a Raja of Kumarsain from Upper Himachal who many years ago tried to imprison a Gur of the Local diety. It is said that the Devta jee gave a curse through the Gur to the king and since then the king entire royal family has gotten wiped off, as the last male heir of the royal family had died in 1996 and the married daughters live in Nepal(not sure if it has any connection to Nepalese royal massacre). Also the palace of Kumarsain got burned down to the ashes in 2007.
