Oh no....fly high Bubbles. Sometimes it is just not meant to be. You'll be cared after over the Rainbow bridge by all the other budgies. You we such a brave little fighter. And thank you Alen for not giving up on him. I am sure he is happy wherever he is now.
RIP Bubbles 😢 I will never forget your little chirps and how bravely you fought to be on this Earth. At least the world was a better place for the 15 days you were with us. 🌈
I'm so sorry you lost Bubbles. I feel your pain because last week I lost a four day old baby budgie I had been raising since he hatched. But unlike Bubbles who failed to grow, my baby, Pinky, had been doing great. He had grown from 1.5 grams to 5 grams and appeared very healthy and normal. But he suddenly died for no apparent reason and my husband and I cried for hours. I think there was something wrong with Bubbles that had nothing to do with your care and feeding. From my experience hand raising budgies from hatching, if they are normal and healthy they grow very quickly. You kept Bubbles alive with your love and care but I don’t think Bubbles had a chance. Its hard for me to deal with losing Pinky because I feel like I must have done something wrong, perhaps overfeeding, that caused him to aspirate and die even though his last feeding went well. But I will never know. Dont let this experience discourage you too much. If another newborn budgie needs your care, try again. It can be an amazing rewarding experience. I have my babies, Rocky, now 2 years old, and Tiki, now almost 4 months as proof.
For names for your twins, I like Tatertot and Chickpea. My newest budgies are Corona and Elan (ee-LAN). I also have Rocky, Beau, Skyeotte, Jimmy Buffettbird, and Jane Buffettbird, Baja, Donzi, Mariah, Emerson, Tilly, Dilly, Shelby, Bennington, Tiki and VelcroPink (a new 3 day old baby) plus two more two week old twins not yet name. A real big bunch of Budgies, indeed! Six are English "exhibition quality" birds. They are all loved.
HEY Alenaxp, I ordered some of your new hoodies and t- shirts September 28 2024 and Have not heard anything since the confirmation e-mails. Now it's October 31 and I am wondering if it was a scam.
Sorry to hear that, I have no control over shipping delays but I will check for you! 🙏 Have you checked spam folder? Teespring is managing all, payment, shipping and support.
Hello Alen Axp I am here to request you for a help. I have brought a new budgie 2 weeks ago and now I have started to tame him but he is showing least interest in all the treats and toys. Nothing fascinates or attracts him and so It is very difficult for me to train him. Also he is a very shy bird who, even after trying for the past 2-3 days is very very scared of me and is very ignorant towards me. Pls help... None of your tricks in the videos about budgie training is working for me. I request you to help 😢
Your new budgie may need more time to adjust; start by sitting near his cage, speaking softly, and offering treats from a distance. Gradually place your hand in the cage without moving it, allowing him to approach when he’s comfortable-patience will help build trust.
At 9 weeks, transitioning from hand-feeding to seeds can take patience-try sprinkling seeds on a flat surface or mixing a few seeds into his handmix to encourage interest. You can also gently tap the seeds with your finger to mimic pecking, which may inspire him to explore them on his own.
@alenaxp thank you soooooo much i have been trying it for 1hour and he took his first seeds and he is very interested in it thanks a lot he has been eating for 5minutes straight ☺️☺️☺️
