An insightful interview with a genuine musical legend.
It makes sense that Eric loved Gonzalez, and wow, did they get the perfect vocalist for one of the best known APP classics! Going in cold on that and getting such a striking result is amazing, particularly the vocal improvs. Also, playing the Proms on just soundchecks, and seeing Eric "somewhere in the audience" on the night...
I didn't know that Lenny had managed bands during that big shift in music. Also, I have that "Biggles" LP - a nice album. I remember finding that first Lenny Zakatek album at the time, and I have them all, "Love Letters" being an especial favourite.
