Taking Back Sunday progressively gets better and better. They create songs that apply to their lives, and their fans lives in turn. These guys get older and so does their material, but so do the fans! TAYF was a different time for these guys and they were going through different things. You can't hate on them for not writing about break ups and fights with friends if they are married. Bands change and get better.
I even love that the merch now has onesies. I mean come on! :) this band grew up with me from high school to now. I couldn't understand people comparing the albums when they tell different stories.

Wow after watching two of my other favorite artists growing up release their new stuff as older dudes (Blink 182 and Linkin Park) I was expecting the same type of result out of TBS new albums.. You know, good stuff but more nostalgic purposes and not the same as back in the day. I was wrong, this song, album, is VINTAGE! It's just as good as their stuff from 2005..love it. Who would have thought those crazy guys jumping around for 'Cute without the E' would still be going strong this day??

Been a fan since the first album, which came out in the year I met my wife. Finally got to see them last night in Helsinki. I was so pleased that they played songs from every album. They were personable, charming and above all played a blinding set. Thanks so much for for a great night and bringing back some wonderful memories.
This song is AMAZING, it is their best song since the original line up reunited. It just has that typical emotional TBS written all over it that we all grew to love.
No other band from the "scene" has evolved as much as Taking Back Sunday did. I've been listening to them for literally twelve years now, I've gone from a young man to a man listening to them. Whoever says that this band hasn't evolved doesn't know SHIT about life and/or music. Brand New never actually grew up. Neither most of their fans. Taking Back Sunday in the other hand did, and did it with me. So I'm thankful for having them around, because I seriously wouldn't like to live without them making the soundtrack.

Djay Brawner Yes I knew that. That's old news. They just haven't produced a lot of good songs since Fred left. (IMO) Their self-titled album with John was loads better than New Again, which I felt was not that good. I actually wish John would do a little more singing kind of like he did back in the Tell All Your Friends Album.

TBS to me is one of the best band ever formed not because of their songs from one album they released. John still looks the same as he did all those years ago. The arrangement on this song reminds me a little bit of their classic "Ghost Man On Third", but more modern and mature. They are still a great band and I'm so happy that they've allowed themselves to grow and do what they want. They sound great doing it!
Taking Back Sunday is hands down the best band in the entire world. I’ve seen them live for that 20 times and haven’t missed a show in Philly since I was allowed to go to shows. I’ve been listening to them since I was 9 years old; I’m 23 now (it’s true, nobody fucking likes me). I can’t believe I’ve been listening to this band for over half my life. Honestly it’s almost been 2/3 of my life LOL.

I feel like bands from this era are trying too hard to reinvent themselves, but this a rare encapsulation of the tbs we all love and want. Saves the day is one of the few still doing what the emo scene of 2000’s want.
The production is underrated. Taking back Sunday has always had such well produced albums. Their first couple albums were raw but well balanced, this album and this song in particular has such an elegant sound without losing the edge that reflects the poise the band found in this era

I can't believe this song is a decade old. What a strange expierence to come back and realize that I'm in a different head space, as the song has taken on a whole different meaning for me now.
