I tried this once and purchased a huge wooden knitting needle (instead of the ruler), and that way I could slide it off. Please share the name of the yarn you’re using. I love it!

Elisabeth Sherwood I got a large 1” needle too later, but didn’t try it yet with this stitch. The yarn is Caron Simply Soft, I don’t remember the name, I think it might be a limited addition. I haven’t seen it in stores anymore.
