The mascot that was in the chopper with Wenlock at the start is named Schuss, he was the first ever Olympic mascot, being mascot of the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble, France.
I have, it’s quite interesting that they chose to have their mascots styled after something that was worn back during the French Revolution, it’s quite a clever idea I have to say.
The teacup feels humorous in hindsight because of the Pokemon sinistea, who debuted in pokemons equivalent of the UK. Also wenlock and Mandeville seem similar to meltan and melmetal (cycloptic metal creatures), though its probably a coincidence at bestz since the steel type meltan and melmetal don't have camera eyes.
Here in the UK , you can find London 2012 merchandise EVERYWHERE like in every charity (thrift) shop or car boot sale there’s always wenlock and manderville merchandise 😂
Oh wow! I wished I could find their merch easily in Southern California. Here, you're much more likely to find Sam merch from the 1984 Los Angeles games.
i think wenlock is a interesting character i feel like they would have a lot of personality
