@@reneeallen3569 I would like to see the actual Basilisk from the books. The one from the movie looked more like a Wyrm aka the wignless, legless dragon. In the books, it was more of a snake with males having a scarlet feathered crest.
She is beautiful, it's the first video of yours I've seen. Thanks for sharing your work, regards Paul from London UK ps I've subscribed to see more of what you offer.
The texture is more like human skin. The type of clay. Sculpey is not like that. Interesting. I use to be able to reproduce other's art, but anymore I am retired. I enjoy everybody elses art, bless them all.
As a costume designer I love the design, as a seamstress I have 2 words for you, side seams. With the exception of certain types of tshirts most garments have side seams. Otherwise I love your attention to detail.
Please design “Snake of Clay” T-shirts!!! You could do a light grey background with the clay in color choices of super sculpey original or super sculpey firm/medium!
Beginner here! I'm in the process of making a chaotic neutral druid goth pixie I play in my DnD campaign! It's so wonderful seeing her come to life. Thank you so much for the tips and inspiration! I will share when she's done :)
I'm re-watching this every now and then. I remember showing this video to my parents, and we watched it together. It was a couple of months before they both died in an accident. Re-watching it is a reminder of that moment.
You sculpt whatever the heck makes you happy! And that will make me happy! I sculpted my first piece and you’re my inspiration and chief instructor so thank you!
i got told wendigos are a religious figure & the folks who believe in them would rather people not call their hunger demon designs as that, it has folks ignorant abt what they actually are. thaaat said ... you obv mean like, a monster like the design they use in until dawn? bc holy shit he'd do AMAZING w that aaa
@@ohnoagremlin Actually they aren't religious. They stem from a native American urban legend. Native Americans, if ever lost in the woods with no food, resorted to killing themselves rather then cannibalism because they feared turning into a wendigo. The wendigo is just an urban legend: my favorite one at that.
@always_pottering actually the whole "people think they're a cryptid or legend rather than real religious beliefs" bit was what got me mentioning it! tbh i love the Hollywood design, but if it upsets the creators of the idea then let's just make it out own thing & let em have theirs imo! you can do what's good by you, it's all good

Oooo... I'm new to the channel. But I've seen lots of figurines so far. I wonder if a four legged creature would be up to task? Hmmm... Possibly quite on the large size though.
''And while she was baking I made this cute little snake... Do you like it? :'' That was the cutest thing I've heard in a while haha. And of course we loved the lil snake! Keep up the great work!
I think she is prettier than the Disney fairy godmothers! At first I thought she was like a copy of Disney but you gave her a personality that is so unique. You never cease to amaze me!
This turned out beautiful. Now you need a BAD WITCH. Something like The Wicked Witch of West but with your take of what a bad witch should look like. You amaze me every time I watch you. Super imagination!!!!! Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
I could totally see these characters all living in a "reverse world" where a little girl or boy is obsessed with monsters and the fairy godmother is the villain trying to destroy it all and change the kid.
I usually can't make it all the way through youtube videos but I can't tear myself away from your videos. You never disappoint or get boring. Love the finished sculpture.
I honestly think that she fits quite nicely in with the rest of your monster series. i would love to see a movie putting all of these characters together including the frog king and your tree wizard.
You did an amazing job with Tilly. You know it's always a good idea to do something out of your comfort zone because it stretches your creative muscles. But there are a lot of UA-camrs out there that do happy and bright stuff. So you, Ace of Clay, are unique in your style and what you create. Stay true to yourself, I believe that's what makes your channel so successful. We love all that you do and I personally wouldn't want you to be any different. Thank you for an amazing creative video and lesson in stretching our creative muscles. Tilly the Good is awesome!!! Hugs from Texas
The mythical universe continues to expand! I would love to see you take on some more animal based additions - the zombie dog is still my favourite to date!
"Dark and dreary?" I find your usual pieces to be quite whimsical, myself. Granted it's a zombie, werewolf, or grim reaper but those are the happiest, most congenial monsters I've seen in a long time. Still loved this and enjoy watching anything you create. You sir, are an inspiration.
Just Love, love, love Tilly! Love all your sculpts but glad to see her happy, pudgy face! Your face sculpting always shows great character in your pieces. Your dress design was spot on. Great job Ace! Hope to see a few more happy sculpts mixed in with your other fabulous works of art!
I love all the embellished coils on her dress and her hair is very nice. I love watching your videos, I learn new techniques and ways to do figures. Keep up the great work.
She's cute, but I like the so-called dark and dreary figures How about the Creature from the Black Lagoon? He could be smiling because he just met the human of his dreams..
Awww... she's adorable! I want her to grant my wish of her signed portrait for my collection, lol! But seriously, the process was really interesting to watch! I learned a lot of tips for my sculpy creations.
My daughter and I both love this..she is beautifully done..her face and hair is just so perfect goes so well with the style of dress ..and the dress is gorgeous....It might be outside your comfort zone but you did yourself proud 😀
I absolutely love Tilly. She is a masterpiece. Being a redhead, I love that you did her hair red. You did an amazing job. Just proves that you can work out of your comfort zone. Such an inspiration you are 😁❤️
I am pretty Happy seeing Magical Tilly she looks formidable yet a benevolent force for good and has a lot of great detail. Someone said you missed the side seams but maybe with a few brush strokes of paint you can achieve a hint of that. Well done a fun project to see.
Oh my goodness, I love, love, LOVE Tilly! I need a fairy godmother like her! I love her poofy sleeves and puffy cheeks! And I love how you did an eyeshadow and eyebrow tutorial without even knowing it. Lol! Thank you for sharing. ❤️💕
Developing on the little snake side project in this episode, you should make a basilisk so we can truly have a snake of clay.
For reference- basilisk is in Harry Potter.... would be awesome!!!
A snake of clay would be amazingly meta

The dust of a thousand mauves....... She came out fantastic. Enjoying the additional humor you are tossing into the videos.
