- Annie shares part of her powerful testimony, becoming a Christian in the early 70's, laying down everything to follow Jesus. Followed up by her beautiful song "My Redeemer". Except from "First Love" (Volume 1), a gathering of artists from the Jesus Movement (1998).
"You let me sing my songs for you every now and then, but I'm asking you...when are you gonna listen? You say I never sing about anything but Jesus, well, that's because Jesus is my song!"
I was first told You Must Be Born Again by a lady at work. I argued with her for 6months about religion. Then on 12-26-83 i gave my life to Jesus. When i came back to work from Christmas holidays i told her what happened. She wept with joy! I'll be 58 yrs old sept 16th. What a journey it has been. There is nothing like following Jesus, nothing.
I was 24 yrs old when i made that decision, ill' never forget that awesome day.
Awesome! testimony. The angels rejoice in heaven when one sinner repents. Glory be to God.
It's good to follow Jesus. But He accepts you because you accept his sacrifice for sins. His flesh his blood his anguish is the coin that pays for It all.
John 6 56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
Nothing at all.
I'd rather have Jesus than silver or gold.

Annie h as s always spoken to my heart. I love the harmonies of second chapter and Mathew has an amazing voice but it's Annie's voice that makes me feel.

It's easy to receive Christ. He accepts you because you accept his sacrifice for sins.
And comes and lives in you not by your effort. John 6 56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
When you have faith in his sacrifice for sins he saves you to the uttermost. And gives you his holysprit. Him living thru you is because he lives in his children. And he doesn't give you this life and make you a child and his holysprit until you accept his sacrifice. John 6 53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
At age 29 I turned to my wife Geri at our front door to say, “Upon my return we will be getting a divorce.” On my business trip I ran into a man I hadn’t seen in seven years. At length he spoke to me of Christ. When finished he asked, “Ken, I feel led of the Holy Spirit to ask if you want to place your faith in Christ as Savior and Lord?” There in his office with humility and repentance for my sins, I yielded to the Lord Jesus Christ. I stood up and heard myself say, “Hallelujah!” With sins forgiven, I was born again! God‘s power changed me inside and out. What about my wife, you ask? The entire story is told here:
