    Very nice video guys !! I like Katy very much for my family and I. My only concern is my commute to work to downtown Houston. I plan on utilizing the Park and Ride.. is this feasible ?

      Lived in Katy when it was much smaller and far, far less crowded and my commute to downtown was always an ordeal. Public transportation is subpar by any standard, so I personally wouldn't rely on it daily for work. You're going to need to own a car, full stop.

    I think it would be fair to mention that new construction means higher taxes and you have to pay MUD taxes as well

      Yes, valid point! We frequently mention that newer areas have higher taxes due to the MUDs. We try to explain to our clients that over time, as the bonds issued to fund building the infrastructure in an area get paid off, and the tax base for the area grows, that mud taxes typically go down over time.

      Property taxes can be stiff. But those MUD taxes are a whopper.
