I like to think that during the song they are both exiting squidwards's house and back to the stage where he got humiliated at and they proform the last part of the song when undersea folk start to hear the music. And right when squidward is about to (do it) he misses the shot because he noticed the amount of fish there watching him but instead of booing there clapping and cheering for him after that performance that they both did. Finally squidward has gotten respect for his musical art and he's decided for the sake of everyone and himself that doomsday won't be today.
i think an explanation on why they went on stage would be that Squidward saw bf with the realistic blood eyes, the same ones the audience apparently had in the og red mist creepypasta, then i guess Squidward decided to try to take out bf due to him relating the blood red eyes with the failed concert, who then either lures him onto stage or just accidentally made it on their trying not to die, interrupting someone else’s performance, then when Squidward tries to shoot bf again, he misses partly due to realizing he’s back on stage, and then the audience applauds after hearing his singing and either what they presume to be acting, and then i guess he goes back to normal after finally getting praise.
Gotta say, thats actually one of the best remixes i heard in a while. The fact you added actual flute sounds and boos in the show parts, and squidwards slow but sure descent in madness and suicide is just... Is just perfect. I may want to hear the lore one day but other than that, bravo!
