My style is more of modern minimalist, but your furniture reminds me of the Golden Girls and your outfit OMG reminds me of my mom (RIP). You are totally the coolest person ever. Would you recommend Dubsado for a contractor? I have a small business and primarily need this for proposal. Trying to streamline my quoting process coming from word templates. The visuals and options to have customer select options are key for me. Thank you.
Hey Miguel - Dubsado would be great for a Contractor, especially if you're looking to grow the functionality in your behind-the-scenes. Like a contact form on your website where leads can reach out and then Dubsado can create a new project for you. Or if you need people to schedule quotes, you can send them a scheduler through Dubsado. You can absolutely use Dubsado for Clients to pick their options with you without you having to custom build each quote. Let me know if you need any assistance with the set up!! (My husband is a contractor and we use Wave Apps - a free invoicing/account system - for his Estimates + Invoicing, but he doesn't need the ability for Clients to pick options/packages)
How does the payment work on both? How long do we have to wait for payment on Dubsado compared to Honeybook? Rate? What about % they take from payment?
Honeybook does payment thru their system, Dubsado links with either Square or Stripe to receive payment. All rates are super similar between the three (Honeybook, Stripe and Square). Honeybook’s credit card payments usually take 2-3 business days to reach your bank account, and bank transfer payments usually take 7-8 business days. When you first start processing with Stripe, it can take 7-14 days to receive funds (most banks are this way too, for like a check deposit) but once you’re established with them, it depends on your country - but the US has a 2 day turnaround. Stripe has a 36 hour turn around. So overall, Dubsado wins with the faster processing times of either Stripe or Square. ANDDDD Dubsado lets you also hook up PayPal which really makes it easy for your clients. Hope that helps!!
