I believe the calendar is always visible so that they can see your availability. You can edit on your end so that they only see/book so far in advance.

Yes! Create a services brochure with the consult/appointment as an item with a price, then after selection you can direct them to pay before scheduling.

I would like the potential client to have the ability to book without any initial interaction from me, so without me having to send them a link with my availability. So with me offering various types of services would the honeybook feature be conducive to something like that?? I guess i am looking for it to be an online booking service and not sure if that will work or not?
You can absolutely use the honeybook scheduling feature in that way. You can create different links to schedule different services with you and all you have to do is have the link posted to your website or social somewhere.
