The fish's Cornea or the center of the eye should be as black as your own, if it is foggy grey or white dont buy it ! Alot of these places like La Mer get their fish from the NYC Huntspoint fish market! And I have been buying fresh fish from NYC Chinatown, for over 30 years! If the eyes re not clear but instead foggy, dont bother!!!
