TELL EVEY ONE HOW JESUS CHRIST WILL ...UN,, REDEEME HIS CHILD AFTER HE REDEEMED THEM TO BEGEN WITH ? ARE U SAYING U DO NOT BELIEV JESUS CHRIST IN JOHN Ch 3 VS 16 WHEN HE SAYS YOUR HIS FOR EVER ?
One would think that the thief on the cross was not saved because he wasn't baptised. Also Paul in Romans 10:9 said If you confess Jesus as Loud publicaly you will be saved. Apparently Paul forgot that merely confessing Jesus is lord and asking for salvation wasn't enough because the thief wasn't baptised. One would have thought that of all the places where what must be done to get saved that place on the cross should have been that place yet, baptisism was missing. Could it be that baptism isn't necessary!!
@@davidaucoin7317 I would recommend that you read Romans 10:9-10 again and notice what Paul says you must believe in confess. He mentions the death burial and resurrection of Jesus, which the thief on the cross did not confess. The thief on the cross lived under the old covenant. The new covenant wasn’t preached until ask chapter 2.
@@billythebaptist007 Luke 24:46-29 shows clearly the new covenant was not in force yet even after the death of Jesus and the thief. It did not come into force until Acts 2 when the Gospel was preached for the first time. The thief had no way to believe in the resurrection which had not even happened yet when he spoke w Jesus.
@@billythebaptist007 Heb 9:16-17 says AFTER men are dead, meaning not during their life. It does not say upon the immediate moment of death. Luke 24:47-49 shows it had not gone into effect when they text says that go wait in Jerusalem. When the power comes then you will preach repentance and the remission of sins, which was the terminology for the new covenant. This answers your other faulty comments as well. Jesus said today you will be with me in paradise. The man did not say I believe you will be resurrected and Scripture gives no evidence of that. Romans 10:9-10 says you have to confess that and no recod the thief confessed it. Its amazing the lengths you will go to in orde r to defend your false doctrine.
Unfortunately, in the Church of Christ, the ability to rightfully divide the word has gone by the wayside. We seek those things that tickle our ears. The first thing we have to understand what God's grace is. After it has been determined then the next question is: "What is Jesus's grace? Is there such a grace? BTW excellent explanation.
You are saying that water baptism washes away your sins. Jesus Christ was baptized in water as well, are you then saying that Jesus Christ was a sinner as well?
Thank you for the article reference, but at the end it states that the writer does not know all the reasons why Christ was baptized and that because he was baptized we should as well. Christ also stated for the disciples to NOT go to the gentiles, should we then not go because he stated that. Either way you say that water baptism washes away your sins, I don’t get why you say that. Either baptism washes away your sins or maybe you don’t understand what baptism stands for and why they were baptizing. No answer still to my question
Acts 10 44-48. When the Holy Spirit fell on the gentiles as Peter spoke, where they saved at that point or after the were water baptized. Why would the Holy Ghost fall on them before they were baptized of you state that you are not saved until after water baptism. Please don’t get offended for all my questions, I am just trying to find out these questions I have.
That would be a logical conclusion if it was that simple. Over and over, we are taught Christ was sinless. Maybe think of it this way. If was a defining moment, a spot in time, an act of obedience whether he needed it or not. At that moment, the baptism, the Holy Spirit coming upon him, THAT, was a starting point of his ministry.
Hey man. A lot of the songs I had on there were not songs I wanted to be affiliated with anymore as a lot of them had messages in them that were not wholesome. For that reason I took them down. Is there a specific song in particular you wanted to learn?
