I've never heard of the Dubko. That's a pretty cool stand, I think I'd prefer it over the Potoky, if I had the means. But I like my Kay's Creations Baby Base pretty well. So jealous of your retreat, but eh, I do well getting through 3 hours of social interaction without burnout, lol.

God works in mysterious ways, I totally believe it. You just need to be patient. Sometimes it is extremely difficult and you wonder how much more, this cross is way too heavy. Then BAM! Things change. FAITH, such a huge word.

But seriously I love the comparison u did. I wanted the dubko but I guess that won't be happening now. Two more things:
1. I love seeing you show ur cross stitch journey. Right now im obsessed with Heaven and Earth Designs. I have a few wips and I love them all. I can't wait to see how my taste are gonna change over time and what I will be drawn to later.
2. Please don't forget ur Lifeguard sweatshirt for the retreat. I'm really hoping for a funny story!

I've wanted a dubko for years but never wanted to pay the price! I really do need a tabletop stand though. I love my lowry but its not ideal for when I travel
You are so lucky that you have a husband who doesn’t mind, or gives you “grief” over the supplies you’ve purchased. My husband would never allow me to but one, let alone two of the beautiful stands you have. I’m married to a verbally abusive man.

Hi Danielle,l have to agree with you about the Potoky,but l believe they have improved them .l don’t know how ,but l get frustrated about not being able to adjust the bottom of the stand .it gets cramped trying to get underneath it ,if it’s too low .
How do you use a lamp or magnifying lamp with either of these?
You could clip on a small light to your hoop or q snap. Or even use the halo glo, which is a wireless light and magnifier in one.
As always, I loved today's video. I think nearly all our plans and schemes have unforeseen consequences. Some seem good while others give you pause. Hearing zbout an accident on a route you always use but couldn't use because of road construction i.e if you want to make God laugh make a plan. Where did you get that fabulous 4 drawer cabinet behind you. LOVE the color and the size. I MUST HAVE ONE. Thanks for always brightening my day. Hugs
