one of the most beautiful album ever made
Gold!
I don't know if this is the yrannosaurs missing from Trex or not, but it's definitely worth the listen.
Beautiful deceiver
Peppermint Flickstick and Boo I Said Freeze are playing too slowly on here. This is them at the correct speed:

You can hear the entire Electric session in one sitting here, with the scratches on Steel Abortion cleared off too:

Steve was a true-believer, while Marc was just a commercialist. He might have died before I was even conceived, but Steve still inspires me.
@ That's complete bullshit, Steve Took had LOADS of amazing songs. The Steve Took's Horns session from 1977 is my favourite. Even Marc became a fan in the end - he mentions in his Record Mirror column he liked the tape Steve had sent him recently. The only thing wrong with this album is that two tracks on here are playing too slowly. I've posted links to the correct speed versions on another thread on here.
Playing bongos for Marc was just Steve's juvenilia. His own songs were the mature work of his artistic life.
James Rogers - Steve wanted commercial success too - it's just that his reputation as a troublemaker and hedonist scared away record companies. He played loads of live gigs and did a radio session on BBC Radio London. He was a BIG part of the underground music scene - loads of Hawkwind and Pink Fairies fans were fans of his from seeing his support slots for those bands. Steve wasn't a flower-child hippy - he was a leather-jacket hard-rocking biker type hippy.
oh and another thing @Daniel Eyre - if you can't recognise that Larry Wallis was a fucking GENIUS lead guitarist then there really is no hope for you.
@@kurtvanderbogarde8402 How does anything you’ve typed back up your claim that what I said was bullshit?
Whatever else Steve Did is not relevant to an unavoidable fact here: This album is pretty rubbish. And Steve never really went anywhere like he could’ve.
Dude... The time frame of the songs are wrong.👌
Yeah, Peppermint Flickstick and Boo I Said Freeze are playing too slowly. I've posted links to the correct speed versions in another comment.
No, I said no. It's understand?
