    I used titanium nibs and commented on Brandon Boswell's video on the same topic. I only use it on a cheap stylus (Samsung one) on a replaceable screen protector (not reMarkable 2 or others came with factory screen protector). The only reason I want to use them is because the paper like iPad screen protector I use on a Boox Lumi Max (old) chews through regular nibs very fast.

    thanks for your thoughts on titanium tips - some good things to consider. think I'll stick with the original tips - saving a small amount on replacement tips seems silly if there is a risk that the screen and or pen are damaged

    Thanks for answering my questions, makes perfect sense that it would be a full redesign. I just know now that the bottom border is wider than the others on the A5X and thought making them even might pick up some slight screen real estate. As always, appreciate your thoughtful responses.

    Hello Voja, really appreciate your in-depth videos about e-readers. I've been binge watching most of your videos as I'm on the market for a e-reader right now, and I must say you're my favorite e-reader channel.
    After watching your videos, I had my heart set on Boox Tab Ultra C Pro, but then Bigme InkNoteX came out, so I was wondering if you be doing a review on Bigme InkNoteX anytime soon?

      E-reader prime use is reader and note taking, and there is nothing which comes closer to Boox's Neoreader. Hardware wise BigMe devices are great, but it's the Neoreader's capabilities which makes the difference.

    Interesting that you recently got an update for your Poke 2. I have the Poke 3 and I got the December update but I am not seeing a newer update yet.

    People complain that the screen feels on the Note Air 3 series devices will smooth out as it is used. Would you recommend replacing the screen protector at that point? Also would the FeelWrite Film from Supernote work? If it would, could you use the titanium nibs on the boox with the Feel Write Screen Protection. I would like to buy an HOM or use the DIY pen kit that Super Note offers and maybe experiment with some fountain pen housing.

    I have a SN A6X2 and a SN A5X and I am having a terrible time keeping them synced. I know I should follow a certain order but I still in up with conflicted files. Do I just need to quit syncing them and wait for the A5X2? I like having the large and small for different uses

    How do you find time to do everything you do? I guess the answer is with MDO 😂 I'd love to be your student

      Actually, yes, it is MDO, without joking :) I rely on it on a daily basis, and set my schedules and then adhere to them.
      But, I also work a lot. For example, in order to have time for everything, I schedule out one UA-cam day every 2 weeks. On that day I need to record, edit, render and schedule 4 videos that will span the following 2 weeks. For example, on the day when I was making this video, along with 3 other videos, my work day started at 8 am and ended at 1:30 am, with a cumulative 1:30 break for lunch and dinner, which makes it 16 work hours in one day. And then the next day I can't rest, as I have a regular 8-9 hour work day.

    Hello, there's a few reports on reddit complaining about the fragility of the Onyx Boox screens, making these devices not transportable. Would you confirm these reports? Thanks

    • @ernestintownandjackintheco1024
      @ernestintownandjackintheco1024 Місяць тому +1

      They are transportable. I put my TabX in my backpack every day. I have a protective sleeve I put mine in, and you just need to be careful.

    Hi, can you share a review on BigMe inkNote B&W 10.3 inch? I heard its condsider among the fastest e-reader. Would like to know from your point of view

    So, like you, Voja, I didn’t like the writing feel of the TabX. I have on order the Healing Shield you recommended. If one is not concerned with potentially damaging their pen over time, is it safe to use titanium nibs with the healing shield? Will it damage the actual screen of the device, or just the shield?

    • @MyDeepGuide
      @MyDeepGuide  Місяць тому +1

      Just the screen protector :)

      @@MyDeepGuide thanks for the reply. In that case, I am happy to replace the screen protector when needed. I currently have a nice ballpoint pen feel with titanium nibs and the Rock Paper Pencil matte screen designed for the 12.9 inch iPad.

      Excellent Q and A. I didn't know you were into animation. After watching your reviews last year I bought my daughter Izzy the A6X2 for Christmas. She is graduating from Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota Florida in one week! Izzy does character design and storyboards, and grew up doing animation. Hopefully she can find meaningful work as she loves drawing.
      BTW I have been waiting for the A5X2 so I can finally stop generating tons of paper notes. I am a computer engineer (and guitar player) and have always been hooked on a number 2 pencil and paper for my whole life. I tried tablets, touchscreen pcs, portable scanners, phone capture apps, and even that paper that had weird micro dots but never found anything that let my thoughts, code, designs flow like paper. I have hope for the A5X2 based on your videos.
      I would be interest to see more about use of A5X2 for sharing the screen on a live video meeting or recording...they can do that?
      Thanks, peace,
      Jamie
