Love this video. I am very new to illustrator. Do you have a video of the set-up of your work flow for illustrator? I cant even find some of these prompts LOL
Glad you enjoyed! We could do a tutorial on Illustrator, Photoshop and other softwares commonly used. We will add it to our future videos. Thanks for watching!
good job bro
Haha thanks for the feedback!
what about white?
Question... Would you suggest doing that also for DTG Prints?
I have a very similar logo of a dragon with black that is printed on a black shirt
Yes, it would save on ink costs at the very least.
nice! does Gimp work more like a vector based program like illustrator or is it more like photoshop? been looking for an alternative to photoshop for working on graphics. played around with Inkscape. but would prefer something more like adobe, without spending 2x as much already on adobe products
Gimp is a vector based editor so more like Illustrator. Yes, Adobe products are a little on the pricy side but they are the most capable and the industry standard for graphic design. Also a ton of resources and tutorials out there.
@@DTFSuperstore thanks for the info. I agree with you about Adobe products. Ive been under their thumb...i mean..a "subscriber" and been using photoshop since 5.5 and lightroom since very early on as a photographer (part time) was even doing some video at one point with their products til i switched to using Resolve.
I will have to take a look at Gimp more!
If the graphic is perfect. A lot of artists get lazy and don't trim the shapes so once you remove the color you just see the layers behind it. I wish it was this easy every time.
We actually cover that exact issue later in the video. Check out 5:50 and beyond.
Nice video, can you show the same on GIMP pls ?
We'll see what we can do!
How about affinity?
